Finally someone mentioned the only film worth mentioning, brilliantly funny, dark and violent. Also, epic swearing, constantly. And if that doesn't sell it to you there is a rascist dwarf. Good times.War Penguin said:In Bruges.
It was freaken brilliant. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll see some pretty bloody violence. And when I say "pretty bloody" I mean VERY bloody. I might classify it as "artsy" but you'll need someone else's opinions on that.
Over all, very good but also intense (emotionally and violently).
I will have to check that out. Sounds like my type of movieHeavy_Moses said:Finally someone mentioned the only film worth mentioning, brilliantly funny, dark and violent. Figures, I made a thread a few days ago saying that Public Enemies wasn't that good. Otherwise, all good moviesInstant K4rma said:Public Enemies was really good.
Travolta and Denzel gave stellar perfomances in Pelham 123.
Smokin' Aces is awesome (its got Ryan Reynolds, how could it not be awesome?).
Army of Darkness is pure win.
Saving Private Ryan is almost unreal how good it is.
Braveheart. So amazing I dont even have to explain it.
All of the Lord of the Rings are AmAzInG.
I love the Labyrinth,Dark crystal,Legend,Neverending story all those fantasy movies.Sigel said:Any Pixar movie rocks!! Anything by Studio Ghibli is amazing. The Fifth Element, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Boondock Saints, and of course Army of Darkness!! THIS IS MY BOOM STICK!!!!
Actually as an adaptation it was fairly terrible, the only parts that were as goofy as the rest of the movie should've been were given away in the trailers.RivFader86 said:Saw Get Smart yesterday it was hilarious (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0425061/)

Thank you, finally I'm not the only one who knows about that film. I think I platonically love you.deadman91 said:RocknRolla.
One of the most under-rated films. I'd recommend it to anyone. Action film with intelligent, but understandable humour that most people still get.
Same director (Guy Ritchie) as Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels, another awesome film.
I'll look into those, I loved RocknRollaLilGherkin said:Thank you, finally I'm not the only one who knows about that film. I think I platonically love you.deadman91 said:RocknRolla.

In the vein of Loaded Weapon - I suggest Kentucky Fried Movie. It might just be the best thing to come out of the 70's since polyester.MaxChaos said:Wall-E is good. Also: Loaded Weapon.
