In Shadowrun (the actual table top, not that FPS... thing), my street samurai's named most of his weapons, and will name every piece of hardware he plans on keeping.
Right now, his favorites are Sleepy (A desert eagle like handgun that's loaded with nothing but tranq darts ever), Stalker (an M16 with a lot of recoil compensation, a scope and silencer... and M203), and Jack and Daniel (Pair of matching .44 Magnum Revolvers).
But for swords...
Stickah, Cuddles, Snickersnee, and Friendmaker.

My sword is named Umbra Coma (Latin for "Shadow Stalker"). The sword is pretty epic too.
Forged from Adamantium in the fires of Mount Doom and tempered in the blackest pits of Hell. The blade is imbued with the allmighty power of Lord Sauron and the blood of the Witch King of Angmar. It powers up to unleash a devastating hellfire storm by absorbing the life force of anything around me, and if anyone else tried to use it, contact with the sword would blacken their souls to the point of turning them into a wraith to do my bidding. (I am stealing heavily from Lord of the Rings and slightly from Onimusha). It would be a two hander and can block anything. On the blade would be "Lord Macgyvercas, Destroyer of Souls" in blood red runes that were carved by Valkyries in Valhalla. The blade is serrated and the hilt is made of Adamantium coated dragon bones. On the hilt are spirals of black onyx leading from the blade to the pommel, which is spiked. The onyx serves to project an aura that strikes fear into my enemies.

I dont have Oblivion but I would name my blades based on their alignment. If it were a sword that was good against the undead and other evils I would christen it "Final Judgement". If it were a blade that was good against the living and perhaps with a drain life effect to top it off I would call it "Sanguine Reprisal".
I would then duel weild these weapons and become the ultimate epitomey of a neutral hero, taking whatever actions were necessary to carry the day no matter the cost.
