I enchanted an Akaviri Katana with Soul Drain, called it Demon's Katana. Not very original, but it feels badass.
I've enchanted an Ancient Akaviri Katana with 30 Shock Damage and called it Shiden. If we're talking games other than Oblivion, in Vagrant Story, I renamed my best lance Brionac and my best sword Screamer. I customized them as I saw fit.
I named them in ways I felt made sense with the game. At first I just made simple daggers like Ice Piercer or something, but I would sometimes enchant daedric weapons with Dremora souls and use names that sounded daedric.
In the server I played on in NWN though, they had a way to name items. My main character had a Halberd named "Xiahou Fury". Xiahou is his family's name and it was a family heirloom weapon.

Zangetsu. Look it up. (Actually, I was thinking to buy a katana. It will serve as a decorative element in my room. Or will it?)
Dragoon was a favoured sword of mine.
My blade in real life was named Shalren...name was etched into it when it was given to me.
Axes and Hammers usally get names like Sir Krusher or Mr. Choppy cause i get a little pyscho when using them.
Sorry Shalren was spelt wrong. It's Shardal. It was made from two swords i broke and then my friend re-forged them in his forger's class. He's an aprentice to a master forger. Anyways he gave it to my girlfriend at the time then she laser etched the name in the runes she created and then had thorns going down the entire blade. They show up more when the blade has a liquid on it. I still keep it a pratice with it. It's a glaive style sword, i guess. it's half and half with a katanna style too. Razor sharp and it keeps it's edge well.

If I am immeressed it tends to be something to do with the enhancement. Like "Boiling Blade", "The frigid doom", or "Zeus' Dagger".
If I am not it tends to be more along the lines of
"THe penetrator", "Your Face", "Mr. Zappy", or "Sir Reginald Fuzzy Balls"
