I have two major ones:

Trypanophobia - Fear of injections
Emetophobia - Fear of throwing up

Whenever I am about to have an injection or throw up, I get panic attacks and can only be calmed by drinking a lot of water and sitting down.

creepy crawlies in general. Centipedes, spiders, that kind of thing. I also have a fear of heights.

The only real phobia I have is of wasps. I'm fine with spiders, mostly okay with bees, and think insects in general are pretty neat, but if I see a wasp, I lose it completely. In the past few years I've been working to lessen it, but it's a very slow process.

I have some bad fears of things like abandonment, but nothing compares to my fear of wasps.
I used to be really afraid of dogs as well, but I got over that a long time ago.

Yup, that's a lot of snake rage. It's also a lot of irrational. I mean, how're they "cheating" by using what they have? It's like saying humans are cheating because they use weapons to hunt. Or that a lion is cheating because she has fking teeth. I can guess by the story of your uncle that you'd already thought of the former, but that doesn't invalidate the point. Just because he didn't use weapons on the snake doesn't mean he wouldn't have shot at a bear had it come trundling through his path with murderous intent. Anyway, not all snakes even have venom, plenty constrict their prey or just eat little bugs and shit. Snakes are cool, dammit.

OT: Alright, I have one, though it's not nearly as bad as when I was younger -- puppets. I think it's called paupephobia or something like that. It's sort of the uncanny valley effect wrecking havoc on my sense of calm. That's why life-like animatrons are the worst for me. They just shouldn't be able to move! ...and those dead, hard eyes....

Snakes are evil, sneaky, cheating bastards. There is a reason the a lot of cultures in history aligned them with demonic imagery, they are EVIL. Using poison is just dirty, it's just not cricket I say, not to mention they are slimy and that hole cold blooded thing means they can't be trusted, and have you seen their eyes?

Okay I may be a touch irrational on the subject, may, but hey, would you rather I have this rage against a race or religion? At least hating snakes doesn't lead me to dressing up in funny clothes and burning religions symbols on on someone's lawn.

Wasps/Bees. My gaming consoles dying.

That's really all I can think of. I'm not scared of all that much, especially not unusual stuff.

The only thing I freak out on are Wasps and Bees..

I get scared pretty much every day.. I mean.. Anything scares me.. But its more like I go into a defensive position and prepare a counter attack rather then freak out..

But Wasps and Bees, I guess they are my only true phobia as they basically cant kill me. I can take a sting pretty well.. It only itches for about a day.. Almost no swelling.. But I.. Get out of control. I have to pull all my senses together if I so much as notice one..

I'm also rather weary of heights, but that's more rational as height can kill me.. But I'm not scared stiff of them, I'm just very cautious..

That's about it I guess...

Oh.. And getting late.. But I guess that's not really a phobia.. But I get scared shitless if I suddenly wake up and think that I'm late! It happened a lot before, but now days it's under control ; )

Bugs, I don't mind ants, or ladybirds, but spiders / moths or the common household terrors get instant slipper treatment.

I'm afraid of wasps, large dogs, chimpanzees and mannequins/dolls. Surprisingly I'm not afraid of spiders.

Acrophobia - Fear of heights. When near edges my feet sprout concrete shoes, rooting me in place.
Bathophobia - Fear of depth. Thanks OP. Had trouble putting the finger on this one. It's mostly sharks but this seems to be a more all-encompassing almost primal fear of lots and lots of water.
Glossophobia - Fear of public speaking. Not really sure if I quite have this phobia but it does unnerve me to a good extent.
Fear of Flint, Michigan. Couldn't find this on a list so I'll wing it: Thanatoverginitiharpaxocypridophobia. Dead-pan news anchor voice: "Two more senseless murders tonight. As usual, police are investigating. The victims will be missed. In other news..."
