It's a physics term, because Gordon is a physicist. But even when you know that it doesn't make much sense either.

I'd love to see the Rock Band series retroactively called something else, if only to stop people saying "but it's called ROCK Band, meh meh meh whine whine whine" whenever something from another genre or anything that doesn't stick to the guitar/bass/vox/drums combination is released as DLC.

Wild Arms 4 to We're Sorry and XF to We're still sorry

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Electric Boogoolo because that is still the best subtitle ever.

Persona PSP to Why? and P3P to P3 with more Vagina.

i never liked the name killzone. it sounds like a parody of gritty brown first person shooters, not a legitimate name for a gritty brown first person shooter. its also incredibly uninformative.

They need to change every Madden game to "Give us money so we don't have to be creative"

FIFA Manager.

Yes. That actually bothers me.

It's a football management sim. It has little to do with FIFA.

For that matter, FIFA. A game called "FIFA" should be a game where you play as Sepp Blatter, come up with ridiculous reasons to stop video replays from being implemented and receive bribes.

Infinite Undiscovery should be changed to ANYTHING ELSE, seriously? Undiscovery? It's not a real word, it's not even a cool sounding made up word. Though I'm assuming it was mistranslated and meant to be something like Infinite Indiscovery, which would sound Infinitely better (Tee-hee).
I'm not sure which is a worse thought though, that this was actually intended, or that nobody caught the mistake in the title of the game. Then again, I'm sure 90% of the reason any one even played the game to begin with was because the title baffled them.

Edit: Also, Left 4 Dead 2 should have totally been called "Left 2 Die"

Mario Bros. Don't they have a last name? I would be pissed if I was Luigi.
Erm, Mario Bros somewhat strongly implies that their last name is Mario. In fact no, it doesn't imply, it states that is their last name. I thought everyone knew that? Have you never come across anyone joking about the fact that Mario's name is Mario Mario? Never seen the live action Mario Bros film?

Infinite Discovery. The title makes no sense whatsoever. Then again, I doubt many people have even heard of that game.

Actually, I have seen the atrocity of the movie but I don't look to movies based on games for the lore. Especially, not that one. That movie breaks and parodies lore everywhere to the point that nothing in it should be held as lore. If I have heard jokes about Mario's name I dismissed them as a sort of drive in a parkway and park in a driveway sort of joke of what something implies.

I ain't saying his name isn't Mario Mario, but I don't think that this is the case personally. I could be wrong, I just haven't seen any real evidence that this is the case. I mean you could argue with "Dr. Mario" I suppose. But some doctors go by Dr. Steve by choice. Plus, this is a video game which don't hold our social customs. Furthermore, Japanese names are last name first, first name last. So the real question might be what is Mario's first name?

There are many ways you could look at it.

All Zelda games should have their subtitles removed from them, since they're all the same game.
