Mercedes was originally a spanish name if my memory serves me..

Almost anything that african-american people name their daughter. Lakeesha, Loweesha. ENOUGH WITH THE EESHAS!

I 100% agree with this. I hate that so much.

Also Lance and Wesley.

Lance just because I think it's a horrible name and Wesley because the name brings up bad memories of a bully I had in school.

Oh and Paige I dislike quite a bit as well.

Actually the car was named after a young girl called Mercedes it was one of Mr. Jellinek's daughters (he was one who invented the Mercedes car)

You know I hear this a lot, but what exactly is an "American" name?

Because as far as I'm aware, the names that are popular over here are the same as any other predominantly English-speaking country.

I can't really say there are any names of people i know i don't like, but i can list lots of anime names i don't like.
Such as: Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Rukia, Uzumaki Naruto, Sakazuki, Yagami Light and so on. (Though like Furburt said my hate is mostly towards the people not the names)
