Mohammad, or any variant spelling. It's not really the name itself, or the cultures it's associated with.

It's just that it seems that at least 3/4 of all Muslim males are named that. We all love our children right? But that doesn't mean that we absolutely have to name them after the most important figure in whatever religion we practice!

Seriously now, I can hardly stand 5 of 500 people at my old school in my age group having the same given name as me. If I lived in Saudi Arabia and was named Mohammad I'd certainly be driven to insanity.

That is why if I ever have a son he shall be named Zebulon.

Dylan and Jordan
I agree, but with Jordan it's cool if it's with a woman, on a guy it just sounds weak. And to add to the topic, all Diney sounding names, like Skylar and Cody and shit like that.

Stupid "virtue" names like "Unique" or "Unity."

Or names like "Blade" or "Dragon." Look, folks, your kid's not going to grow up to be the main character in a shounen anime. Knock it off.

And on the converse, for girls, I also hate names like "Crystal" or "Daydream."

Names like Chantelle, Mackenzie, Corina. They just sound tacky, like the parents are trying to make them sound more posh and failing miserably.

Chardonay is a fucking terrible name.
How is that even a name for something other than a whine?

So it's "that ^" plus most promi kid's names. Jamie Oliver's one daughter is called "Peaches Honeyblossom"... I'd put that in my food, but not on my baby. Not to forget all the geniuses naming their kids after US states. Montana, Dakota, ... I'm just waiting for a kid named Alaska or Hawaii.

Alot of US names. The names themselves are annoying, but once they're said in an American accent...

No offense to americans btw. Your names just annoy me ^^
You know I hear this a lot, but what exactly is an "American" name?

Because as far as I'm aware, the names that are popular over here are the same as any other predominantly English-speaking country.
Well, I'll grant you that alot of American names are popular in English speaking countries. I'm talking more about the names that people instantly think of as classic "American" names. By that, I mean names that people think "They're from America". Names like Atticus, Regina, Marlene, Chad etc. The names that people can instantly presume are from America.

I hate any name with a hyphen or an apostrophe, those freaky California misspelled names, weird celebrity baby names, and "Joffrey".
Fuck Joffrey.
