Seriously, 99% of first-band metal bands seem to be
trying for complete blandness.
And, to go along with the mainstream: Nuclear Prophecy seems to be the most-promising moniker, even though it, too, is begging for more life in its veins.
Also, if everybody in this thread will indulge me for a second, I've got a rant to get rid of.

Dear Metal Bands:[/HEADING] Please get rid of the notion that your band can only be cool by being 'Satanic'. I'm willing to bet the farm on you not knowing more than one form of Satanism. Associating your name with 'dark' and 'gritty' things only makes you fail harder.
Personally, I've always thought Of Iron and Oak is cool.
