So I've recently formed a Power metal band (with a Thrash influence)trouble is we can't decide on a name for the band. We have drawn up several names but thus far it has proven difficult on deciding on one set name. So I'll leave it to you, whichever name gets the most votes is the one we will go with, the names are below:

Well there's your problem. You need a name in elvish then. Some kind of reference to Tolkien will automatically make you a true power metal band (I'm teasing, chill).

Really though, why do bands always feel the need to have very serious sounding names? Go with something like Gayver's Gay Parade, The Birkenstocks, the Sump Pumps, or We Are Elves.

Why always 2 words? I think they've worn out. Don't name your band with a 2 word name like Mr. Something, like Mr. Balls. Go for just one word. It's easier for fans, hell, they will end up saying the band in just 1 word like : "Whatcha listening to?" "Beatles". You see 1 or more but not 2 words. Like Thunderpussy.

A few people already mentioned it but name it something really interesting. Mindless Self Indulgence for example did a great job. I read there name and there was interest immediately. Something bland like one of those names you mentioned don't really wake any interest.
And I'm sorry that I can't help you find a name cause I will you use them for my own musical project.

Honestly though, if I saw a poster for a show with any of the names on your list I'd go, "Huh. Generic death or thrash metal. Time to go listen to some Mastodon".

If I'm honest, I don't really like any of those names there. What you COULD do, is take a language, like Latin or Greek... And think of something cool. Two of my friends and I formed a Metal band, and we are named 'Demos Kratia'. Which means 'Power to the people' in Greek (or is USED to mean that anyways). Do something like this and you'll be on you way.

What about Crunchblood Soup? That sounds cool. Or Infernal Fungi of Halitosis X. Yeah. Or maybe Colonpuss Jenkins and the Demons of Narcolepsy? Or Shovelface Oxycontin? Or Stranglepunch Icefoot and The Cybertronic Velociraptors From The Billionth Circle of Hell?
