My last laptop was a 17 inch blue Toshiba beast so I called it 'Big Blue' after the chess computer (which I later found out was called 'Deep Blue' but it was still pretty neat anyway)

My current laptop is called 'Deep Thought' after Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Aaaand my last ipod nano was called 'Little Box of Happy'

I'd say about one in every 144 users who look in this topic actually get that reference (unless Serial Experiments Lain is far more popular than I thought).

OT: Mine is named Oliver.

My main computer is always named Raistlin. When I use a second one (not currently) I name it Caramon and my laptop is named Tasslehoff.

Ive always named my computers CHII, maybe because by the time I got my hands on my own computer I was watching Chobits and therefore was a little into the idea of switching my computer ON and OFF all night long.
Still I have not yet owned 2 functional computers at the same time so Im not really sure whats going to happen to this bad habit in that scenario...maybe Ill name the other one DARK CHII and get it over with...

I don't name it as I have no reason to do so. If I did however I'd call it Breakdown, and not after the decepticon.

The name of my PC is "SHIT". Yes, it is!
P4 2.67GHz? Single core? Yep. It's appropriate.

Hope to get a new one which I can call "BADASS".

Edit:
To be fair, it was one of the fastest back in 2005, until this dual-core thing came. Since then, it became shit.

Well, my PC's names only come up when I'm working over a LAN, where the computers need to be given share-names over the network. I've had:

Dungeon - Named due to it being set up in a basement.
Soultaker - Named after an obscure anime due to computer being housed in demonic case.
Sekmet - My laptop, named after the Egyptian Goddess of Destruction. Just because.
Sellout - My first non-homemade Dell PC
Gundam - Current PC, being the first cutting-edge computer I've put together (most of the ones before this were behind the curve a bit).

My current PC has blue lighting inside the casing. It's also blue on the outside.
It's also the first PC I've had that I consider to be a "gaming PC."

So, I call it "Bodacious Blue."

It's not that great, but it's good in my eyes ^^.

But I call the desktop Leviathan and the laptop Shiva
