Eh, dunno how much of a hot take it is, but I never agreed with "left-right" linguistic framing of political beliefs for a multitude of reasons, and only use them when it's just simpler to lean on a shorthand for brevity's sake. Plus there's a lot of those in the new age and wellness industries who are fully into MLMs, hawking their own unregulated supplements, believing in "good genes" "bootstraps" and Ayn Rand philosophies, you can find them all over YouTube and social media. Plus there's actual Nazis like "golden boy" from Sweden (I think) who is essentially a wellness/fitness influencer, and is flat out, openly white supremacist, no dog whistles needed. The overlap in pushing for the perfect body and thinking there is a specific state of physical perfection does very much neatly fit into these damaging hierarchical ideologies.

They aren't even doing that. Many "new age", natural health, hippie types have been anti-vax for decades. I'm almost insulted for them that the media would suggest they inherited this behavior from some Republicans hesitant about one single vaccine.
I pretty much explained exactly why i believe precisely that. Only an abject idiot of the distinctly right-wing variety would pull an attempted "can of whoop-ass" stunt, rather than go straight for the electronics and all the incriminating data lying therein.
