ooookay...so i'm the north african weirdo here...just point me to somewhere and i'll go stand in line for a visa. But we still have this to idle around when taking a break from not doing anything :D And anything above Marseilles is cold! i never understood why people would fight over dark, damp, grey, rainy lands...

Hey, it's not that bad! The sun was actually shining today, and it got to a blistering 13 degrees Celsius. That's a glorious summer day for us here in England :)

I live in Alaska. We distance ourselves from the lower 48. Hawaii doesn't count. Anywhere not Alaska is known as Outside.

(THEY ONLY LOVE US FOR OUR OIL AND WOOD THAT GETS MADE INTO OVERLY EXPENSIVE INSTRUMEEEENTS)

err. . .yeah.

Northern Irish

I always say I'm Irish while on holidays, people generally like the Irish more than they do the english.

I'm gonna guess wales.

But as for me.
I was born in the USA, but all my heritage comes from the various nations on that lovely Isle by the name of Britain.

I guess that, if you make an average of the geography, then my national Identity is in the atlantic ocean.

In a small bunker overlooking a bandit camp.

Why?
curiosity. your use of "british" to describe yourself means you're likely either East of the Bann or a rich Derry man.

I'm from the US and I think that I represent the democratic side of that identity very well both socially and politically in terms of my opinions and the way I interact. However, I do have some habits that are straight out of my heritage. I am very loud in voicing my opinions and very persistent with them, which is very typical of italians and I think I got that from my grandfather.

I do enjoy hearing multiple perspectives and being able to argue or discuss them in a civil manner (usually) on this website. One example is the international perspective on the US's September 11th terrorist attacks. I like hearing how international people reacted to that and other global events.

I do live in Co. Londonderry, yes, but I would hardly call myself rich.
I love how Derry's one of the only places in the world that can't decide it's own name
also if you say you're British you forsake your right to call yourself Irish

I'm from Canada. The great land of bacon, snow and ice, good beer and awesomeness. It's to bad we have the most undemocratic political system to eve call itself a democracy.
Also we may be ploying world domination.

I was born in the British Isles therefore I can call myself British.

I was born on the Island of Ireland, I can call myself Irish.

I was born in Northern Ireland so I can say I am Northern Irish.

The fact that you care says a lot about you. Let me guess, Tiocfaidh ár lá?
nope I hate both sides. The IRA killed someone within earshot of my house and the apprentice boys are generally dicks. Also if partition was ended do you know how much everything would cost?
