need a good zombie game.

ok, so i am a huge zombie fan but i cant find any good zombie games for my console (ps3/psp). so i need a bit of help finding one. i was looking at DR2 (dead rising 2) but there are a few details that have turned me off of it. i heard l4d is going to be for the ps3 so that would work.

i am looking for somthing
open
epic
creative ways to kill them
huge hordes
no/short time limit
decent controls
big fucking bosses

so the last three get rid of DR2 so... oh and RE5 is out too... just played too much and got tired of it. and the DLC sucks btw. nothing good in there. and while i am on the subject... RESEDINT EVIL 4/5 FUCKING HAS ZOMBIES DIPSHITS! sorry but i have gotten tired of calling them zombies and some snobby ass 'corrects' me and gets it wrong. a person with out free will doing simple tasks is a zombie. every one in those games are under the control of the higher guy with out the ability to refuse or stop in any way. (any movies before remero have zombies like that) being dead or not has nothing to do with it.

yeah i know XP. its more of i have been disapointed so much that i said screw it, i want this and only this... come to think of it, zombies would only be a plus so...

there is a war game for the ps2 i remember but i dont know the name... i remember it was midevil fantasy, fighting orcs. you were a commander in a swarm or men fighting a horde... and half way through the level a dragon came down , told me to hop on and i started shredding giants. that would work if some one knows the name.

Yeah, sounds like you essentially need a combination of L4D and DR to come along. I own L4D2, and while it ticks some of the boxes you mention, I couldn't really recommend it on the basis of creative kills, especially compared to DR. Also, unless you're going to play with up to 3 friends, I wouldn't think it's worth it.

uhh controls are supposedly the biggest problem other than the bosses. if every reviewer says so then i am going to be wary. and while i wouldn't mind the time thing, is there like a free mode were you just kill the fuckers for a few hours? cus if so then i'll get it.

No, the developers work to put cash in their pocket, you egocentristical person. First of all, it's hard for a big name game to sell billions, and yes, what you are asking for is unrealistic.

And even if it weren't, there's Dead Rising 2 that pretty much meets most of your demands and you are saying no to it because you don't like a few things? Really? You go ditch Hundreds of millions of dollars to make yourself a game then, after all, developers work for you.

well that wouldent be a problem but i make minim wage so i cant get a alien ware or anything. there is a game for mac i could get that looking kinda like a LFD clone, have to look up the name again...

Dead Rising 1 has an unlimited survival mode. I think Minecraft has some sort of zombie survival mode. If you want to switch things up you could play Stubbs the Zombie. It's an old X Box game available on the X-Box Live marketplace. You could also try Resident Evil 2. It's not Goblin Commander: Unleash the Horde is it? Probably not, although that is a fairly similar game.

OT: I really can't think of anything else besides Dead Rising or maybe Dead Rising 2, sorry. Good luck with your quest to find the holy grail, however.

i just got a ps3. and played re2, beat it. and i am on Dead frontier... no bosses and the zombies are not very hordy... only 8 on screen at a time.
as far as zombies ate my nehbors... ahhh good old dayes.
