Similar to Soul Eater hmmm. I would try Shakugan no Shana, it's a bit more serious than S.E. but it's still quite fun and has a sort of similar theme.

I'd also say have a look at Infinite Stratos. Again it's a bit different but does have a light hearted side to balance the serious in a similar way to S.E.

If you want something similar to Soul Eater, then disregard the following.

That said, if you're looking for something unique, I'd highly recommend Spice & Wolf. It's a fantasy, but differs from tradition in that it focuses on economics and trading rather than sword and sorcery. Still, the characters are generally likeable, and the banter between the two main characters never ceases to amuse. If you decide to give it a go, I'd urge you to watch five episodes. If you don't like it after that, odds are good you aren't going to.

Along with Spice & Wolf as well as Spice & Wolf 2, I highly recommend Lucky Star for its comedy, and Elfen Lied for its story and emotional train wreck it will put you through.

It's kind of sad you have to ask, but whatever.

I'd recommend MLP:FiM, but it's not an anime... Um, other than that, you could give Durarara!! a try, but me and my broseph turned it off after the thirteenth episode because it got too talky, and I loved A Clockwork Orange.
