Need help finding an old game

Hello!
This is a long shot, i know it but here it goes.
I have searched for this old robot game for some time now, and still havent found it.
Back in 1998 when i was 10yrs i was in this game store that had these old box games with stunning cover art,
and i saw a game that really got my attention when i browsed the store, it had a huge robot standing sideways with a gun pointing to me, it looked kinda battle worn and the skies was red/orange like a sea of flames, the cover was also mostly orange/red too.
The whole cover art picture was hand drawn, and when i think of it i remember i looked on the back of the cover and there was 3 or 4 screen shots, they looked like it was a first person shooter or something, like you where in a cocpit and the screen was mostly blueish or something, very bright atleast.
I cant say for sure that you play as this robot or if it was a FPS, but atleast i hope it gives you some clues.
I just really want to have this in my collection, and sadly i just cant find it, the game store had all kinds of game genres, but since it was one of those big box games i think it was DOS.
I have searched different game cover sites for hours without luck, but i found a picture that is quite similar, but i know its not that

the differences if it helps for you, is that whole cover had the picture on it, and the robot was standing on some kind of rocks or cracked ground. It was not very tall and both its arms where guns if i recall right, and it had bulletholes in its leg armor and it had huge feet.

still no luck with the search for this game.

Only thing that springs to mind is Steel Soldiers, and even that doesn't sound much like what you're describing.

nope not Shogo: Mobile Armor Division.
the cover did not have a boy, it was just a huge metal robot in mostly redish/orangeish colors and looked like it just had taken down an army.

Great with all the input tho, with this speed up im certain to find it withing hours
Just as a tip the game could be older since the game store had a collection of old games, could be that this game was for sega saturn for all i remember.

This might help in your search. I have checked some of this list and not found much. Odds are it is from around 1995-1998 based on your description.

Try Omega Boost, though it came out in '99.

The robot on a orange/red field seems to be a pretty standardized cover. G-NOME has a similar set-up. So does Future Cop: LAPD.

one of the mechwarrior games. mechwarrior 2 mercanaries, and mechwarrior 3. either one of those. i found them in a bargain bin for 3 euros. if its not mechwarrior then i dont know, because the discripion fits mechwarrior 2 mercaniries perfectly.

its not omega boost - since the game im searching for was a Big box game, not a playstation cover, or i would have remembered hehe.
Battletech, it was not that kinda gameplay on the screenshots, and its cover dont match what i remember.
Cybernator, cover and screenshots dont fit sorry :s
Metal Warriors, the robot look somewhat similar. but the cover dont fit.
No sorry, dont remember, but if it helps it was a Big Box game, like the early pc games had you know.

No sorry mate, its not crusader, this robot had only two big guns as arms, and was clearly a robot, not an armor suite.

Alright. I know how frustrating it is trying to find an old game. I used to spend hours searching for old games. Still looking for some myself, or figuring out ways to make some work.

On that note, if anyone knows how to get the original Theme Park working well, please let me know.
