Atrum (Latin for 'dark')
Shadow, etc. Stereotype names. Then again, I called my cat Metallica (Tally for short), so I can't really give advice.

Umbra's also 'ghost' in Latin.

But I'd call him Chairman Miao. Or Simply Cat. Or Scrathcyclaws Deathwhiskers.
