I've never understood this kind of behavior, I mean, sure, on the Internet we do this alot, petty things get treated like the end all be all, but why would you "threaten death" over a Movie Review? I mean, it just seems so silly. Do these people tell others they wish they would die because they forgot to take out the trash?

Being annoyed I could understand, it's what Fanboys do, but going straight to "I hope you die" doesn't leave much room for things that a seriously deserving of anger.

I wasn't. I was just wondering why people were only talking about one reviewer when the article mentioned two.
I didn't say anything about gender, please don't jump to conclusions just cause the two reviewers are of opposite genders.

Jesus, people take things a little too seriously. I never really understood people who make pointless death threats like that, don't they have anything better to do with their time? It's sad, people waste too much energy being mad like that when they could put energy into more positive emotions. I know that there are a lot of idiots on the internet and in the world who do stupid things, but this is just pathetic.

On another note, I can't wait to see the movie, seeing it for my birthday on saturday!

I don't really care if you were doing it intentionally or not but the first thing you mentioned is that the woman is being discussed and the guy is not. It is literally the first thing you brought up. That is you making this about Gender, whether you wanted to or not. Let's just be completly gender-neutral before this spins out of control like so many threads before it. Ok?

The reason I asked was because CODE-D listed a bunch of stuff he found faulty with Christy's review to sort of justify the fanboy/girl rage and I wanted to know if he thought the second review was also faulty. (I'm not gonna read reviews cause of spoilers).

Looked at the rotten tomatoes rating though and it's at 89% so I'm sure the gripes with the film aren't that major.

That, in part, would depend on how well you believe that Bane is portrayed and if you care about the lesser characters to a severe degree.

Nah, I'm one of those dirty new fans who weren't really into Batman before the more recent films. (First Batman film I saw was Batman Forever, I think).

I find this completely unsurprising. People online have this sort of overreaction all the time and really most shouldn't be taken seriously.
I mean, yeah they're being childish, but that's about it they're not likely to actually hurt someone. I'm not saying that they don't deserve to be reprimanded of course.

I am ashamed to be associated by such awful, childish people by my love for the same character and universe.

Some commenters approached their death threats with a wink, quoting Bane's line to Batman that Fine's punishment "must be more severe" and that they didn't give him "permission to die" yet. Others were more direct in their hatred. One comment, since removed, kindly requested Fine "die in a fire." Another from "Jake B," showing remarkable restraint under the circumstances, just fantasized about beating Fine "with a thick rubber hose into a coma." Way to take the high road, Jake.

My reaction, in four words: Death to dumbass fanboys.

If you're the kind of person who reacts like this to a movie review, I think we can safely assume that the world would not miss you.

Based on her other reviews I'm not taking anything she says about this movie as applicable to me.

Actually I'm not going to even continue that line of thought. My bottom line is, this is kids stuff. People flame my opinion to absurd extremes (and even death threats) on Game and Movie forums all the bloody time. And this is NEWS!? Just because she has a sliver of a higher profile online? Come on.
