A while back one of my best friends and I got into and argument and then made a bet about how the one blond girl Spiderman dated in the comics died (I don't remember her name and I don't care enough to search for it). The only reason I even knew this otherwise worthless piece of information was because the night before by pure coincidence I was channel surfing and saw a show talking about the comic as a tie-in to whichever movie was coming out at the time.

If I remember correctly I was the one that was right and I even found the comic panel that this character died in as evidence, but we ended up arguing over the parameters of our bet and whether or not I actually "won".

I don't even think either of us read comics and we are arguing over one. How sad is that?

Oh, zombie survival plans, games, why x is better than y, why the fundamentals of modern day religion are flawed, (which always leads to a discussion about food for some reason)... you know...the usual...

I'm part of AMC at my college. All I have to do is sit in a room with the guys in that club and I can listen to most computer nerd stuff in existence. Personally, my most nerdy discussion was the issue of how ShadowCat from X-men phases through wall but doesn't fall thought the floor.

When I was in high school, I lived in a small town on the Illinois-Missouri border that crosses a very large part of the Mississippi River. Looking down at the water from the back seat, I say to my mom and step-dad without even thinking, "you know, that water is rendered incredibly well!"

Whenever someone insults me, I throw common logic in and turn the insult back to them. ^_^

That, and explaining computer components and units of memory(MB, GB, etc.) and RAM and such.
Why don't people understand RAM?

"My computer's slow"
"Check your RAM"
"...wat."

My friend and I debate quantum physics and the principle of movement relaative to the universe every day at lunch.

For some reason, no one sits with us.

Oh, this probably doesn't count as "nerdy," but in my Philosophy class, my class decided that it was never okay to kill people unless they were Nazis. We spent an hour debating that.

Me and my friends have commonly tried (and on occasion succeeded) to find ways to eliminate several so-called "laws" of physics. such as the law of conservation of matter/ energy.

Recently, I saw I Am Legend (the newest one) again and I started comparing the zombies in the movie to the zombies in Left 4 Dead with my friends. I mentioned how Will Smith lacked the "proper zombie-killing techniques" as seen in L4D, and how everything he did was wrong.

I've remembered another one. I took zombie apocalypse plans a tad further than the rest of you when, after explaining to a friend both of my plans, we then went on to discuss how the effectiveness of these plans would be compromised if they were implemented in a Cybermen invasion.

Last year I was out with this really pretty female. and she said she was kind of tired that she felt like dieing. she had just got off work (teacher) and I told her "please don't die. I left all my Phoenix Downs at home"
I then realized what I just said and if you've never seen a black guy blush...it was pretty funny

I've had in-depth discussions about the finer points of Klingon grammar.
I also once remarked to somebody "you know, infinite sums are really very fascinating!" before realising how terribly nerdy that sounds.

In school instead of saying "the teacher's place", i said "The Department of Education".

It was not cool.

Me and a friend of mine were recently discussing elemental bending (Avatar), how it worked and what you could do with it.
We even got as far as thermodynamics... And how bending water into ice would probably burn everything close.
We agreed that water would be the most awesome and useful element to bend.
It's time for me to start growing up.
you are literally the coolest person i know.
