I still love my Yu-Gi-OH cards, and still kinda enjoy pokemons.

I cosplay. Only as characters with face-concealing masks, mind you.

I also paint Warhammer figures...

This thread is forever lulz.

The number of MLP:FiM responses is fantastic.

I'll say FiM would probably be mine too. If someone finds out, I don't really care, but I don't go pointing it out either.
My friend walked into my room the other day and I had left my FiM folder open and on my wall (12' projected screen) and he was like "Dude, what the hell? Are you really THIS out of stuff to watch?" I just said "Nope. This is what happens when you spend too much time on The Escapist. Curiosity eventually gets you. Show's pretty awesome." and he shrugged and that was the end of that.

I'm not especially geeky in a single area, so I get away with seeming very normal, but I have kinda the whole spectrum of geeky interests. A Jack Of All Trades geek, if you will.
Most people who know me quickly figure this out.

I know how to play Magic The Gathering (tho I myself own no cards), I play D&D (and own nearly all the 3rd edition books), I paint Warhammer 40k minis, play 40k and own nearly all the 3rd-5th edition books (hell, I'm Internet Famous among the online Space Marine community), I have more Steam games and PS3 games than I have time to play, I have an action figure collection (albeit a very small one), I collect TV shows, I collect music, I collect books, and I regularly rewatch old Saturday morning cartoons(I watched all of Justice League and Batman Beyond a month or two ago, just finished Spectacular Spider-Man, currently on Young Justice, about to rewatch Spider-Man TAS).

I have no urge to hide any of this.
And to anyone who thinks I SHOULD have the urge to hide any of that - when I close my eyes to go to sleep at night, the last thing I see is the hottest girl I know laying next to me. ...So contrary opinions are meaningless to me.
Life is chaotic, but life is good. Very good.

this is just me so I could be completley wrong

"action figure" is...well its an action figure, "toy" BUT obviously ment for adults as most mine would be broken within two seconds if you gave it to a child

"figurine" I was refering to the more expensive little "statures" the few I own are from game collectors editions

again I could be wrong so anyone feel free to correct

I know so much about Halo all before Reach and Cryptum came out. I fucking loved that series so hard. Now I don't care for it that much (Even though the books still rock quite hard), but I can remember more or less everything I transcribed into my brain from HBO and the Halo Wiki.

what kind of action figures do you have?

I have a whole bunch of gaming ones, I supose you could call it a collection, though to be honest I dont really do any hardcore "collectors" stuff..I actually take them out of the boxes :p

if I got shepard then I would own the whole series od "ME2" figurines..however Im not sure as shepard is female to me...(I probably will..mabye I could stick a little red wig on him :p)

Ponies. 'Nuf said. And I think that's all, everything else is more or less fair game. Granted, I'm fully prepared to explain the ponies, should someone happen to, I don't know, catch me watching it, but it's still tough to get people to except right away, you know?

It's all well and good to encourage a person to "come out" but it's not my way of doing things. Homosexuality is 100% cool with me, as long as the guy isn't all "I'M A BIG GAY, SEE HOW GAY I AM?!" Same with ponies. Love the show, won't wear the shirts.

I'm obsessed with a certain episode of Captain Planet.
You know, the episode where the bad guys had a machine that made 'evil copies' of stuff, and shoved the five Planeteer rings in it?

Here's the 'good' rings and their 'evil' counterparts:
Earth = Deforestation
Fire = Super Radiation
Wind = Smog
Water = Toxic
Heart = Hate

Why, why, oh WHY did they not simply switch the Heart and Hate rings!?! Captain Planet that uses the powers of nature to attack the people who are polluting the world, and Captain Pollution using his powers to clean up the existing spills?

*continues to obsess*

I won't give an answer to this until you come clean about what your friend's secret was. I see the game you're playing
Exactly.

And since that I now am totally and dolefully desolated that Skyrim 1.2 patched itself (without my consent) and stopped working properly I'm not going to confess anything Nerdy to those "would be" or "pretending" friends here at the Esacapist.

I barely understand the pony thing. I watched a couple of episodes to see what the fuss was about, but was underwhelmed.
Also the cute kiddy american accents put me off a bit, like they do in a lot of kid's movies. I don't have anything against an American accent in general, but I'm not fond of the kid movie type.

But I hear it's liked for it's qualities, not for it's perceived gayness.

I'm pretty sure I've told my friends all my nerdy secrets and somehow they stick around. Probably because most of them are just as nerdy as me.

They know how I geek out about everything already. They don't need to know about my mild attraction to fictional characters.
