...don't get me wrong...
For years and years and years i've felt that the zombie genre of horror was sorrowly underrated and ignored...
Beyond the obvious visceral enjoyment of the violence inherent in the zombie movie, filmmakers like George Romero managed to make the zombie one of the most socially and politically viable horror forums with which to make some form of commentary on the state of our society.
This seemingly sudden explosion of interest in Zombies was incredibly refreshing at first (When i first was loaned a copy of the comicbook "Marvel Zombies" my mind was blown. Who dreamed something like that up?)
However, the plethora of zombie related posts that seem to pop up on an hourly basis across messageboards around the internet has finally worn me down..
Dare i say it? The zombie is....over-exposed?
*Boards the door up with wooden planks and nails, insures the pump-action shottie has a full load of shells, and then...I wait....*
