It's what I've been waiting for I'm sick of todays FPS's.

Well, you've got Serious Sam on XBLA. That's pretty much just fun, violent gunplay with out much (If not any) storyline. Plus, one button saves are awesome. You start saing after every kill, then you feel disgusted...until another enemy comes, then you're uplifted.

As Yahtzee said - "Duke Nukem, all is forgiven". Whether it's a mod or not (i guess not, i can see "B button for shotgun" prompt, which means existence of the console version) i actually want it to be released, simply because all the "realism" in today's shooters is insufferable.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say you don't like Duke Nukem from the look of your avatar.

But on topic, the music, guns, and phrases are spot on for my liking. Not sure if this is for real, but heck, if not, I want to know what game it is and what mods i'll need.

honestly I hope it'll never come out. It definitely WILL be disappointing after all those years of waiting. Plus there wouldn't be the "when-it's-done" anymore.
It just HAS to be taking forever and stay in our fantasy.
Greatest effort of 3d realms was creating this meme. If they had released this game in the past, nobody would talk about it anymore. played and forgotten as so many other games.

It looks like a mod to me because elements of the HUD and sounds are like a game I have seen but I just can't put my finger on it. It could be a group of friends making the mod like The Specialists a while back (which valve should put effort into making because it rocked when it was popular).
