New Medal Of Honor game - Your thoughts.

It ammuses me how propel keep calling this fame out as being a "clone". Ghost Recon did the modern shooter befor CoD4, does tht make it a clone? Medal of Honor did WW2 ges before Call of Duty, but do they copy? Marathon did space shooters before Halo. There is a limited pool of ideas oft games that people will buy. Chance are somewhere, someone already made a ge similar to another. Similarities don't make a game a "clone".

Call of Duty started off as a Medal of Honor clone, so anyone calling this a Modern Warfare clone really has an invalid point.

Also CoD4 is not the 1st Modern Warfare game, Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike came way before it.

I'm disappointed. I didn't start playing FPS games until about 4 years ago, so I'm not done with WW2 shooters yet. I'm more sick of "modern" shooters. Now where do I go for my WW2 fix?

I enjoyed the demo, and the rental. A few too many cheap deaths, though.

Well I'm sick and tired of all these Modern warfare clone games, Modern Warfare is not even that great, but it sells well so I guess all developers and publishers decide to make it like MW, oh I'm so bored of it.

Same...and even MW is mainly a ripoff of Battlefield 2.
I think with the release of BC2 and the MW series, this game isn't going to be very popular for jumping on the bandwagon so late.

Well I'm looking foward to this game. I just hope the story doesn't feel like its ripped from 24 like with Modern Warfare.

PS:All because this game takes place in the middle east does not mean its a fucking Modern Warfare Clone!

CoD was always a MoH clone, which cancels out the name-calling.

I'll keep an eye on it - IW gave me the middle finger so I'll see how this turns out, then give it right back at 'em.

It looks as though they are going to go the Killzone 2 way of controls.

I might have to check this one out.

Despite it being an OBVIOUS design rip off of Cod4 and Cod4:2 - it still looks pretty good. I really liked the first medal of honour when it came out... but they just got incredibly stale incredibly fast.

AND DID THEY REALLY FUCKING NEED TO CALL IT "MEDAL OF HONOR"?
The first came out in 1999, it's 11 years old - the series does not need a REBOOT for fucks sakes. the last one came out in 2007 (airborne) there's no god damn reason you needed to just call this "medal of honor". It's confusing, now whenever we talk about it we need to say "oh, which one are you talking about? the 1999 one or the 2010 one?"

Why do we have to do that? For fuck's sakes. Though I guess "Medal of Honor: Modern Warfare" wouldn't cut the cheese.
