This. After the first one came out I said to myself, "Well at least we're done with that ugly spot on entertainment history." I was swiftly told of the unfortunate truth.Siris said:And there's still going to be two damn more of these things

My thought on the movie? Can't say, haven't watched it yet.
I think it's more the way teenage girls date. They chase the exciting guy, the sexy guy. You can be as shallow as a teaspoon, if you have a sixpack and drama they'll fuck you. And well, Twilight is EXACTLY that. What bothers me is, girls actually follow this because it's how they do things. They don't stop part of the way through with a "holy hell this is what I've been doing?" revelation, they just run with it as totally fine and not at all shallow.gbemery said:Wayte said:How can such a travesty to romance be so popular?

I think that's a good point. It's an idealized relationship, but a very weird and shallow one that's been put on a pedestal and grown out of proportion. Just wait till the female lead gets pregnant and the fetus gets imprinted with spooky vampire/werewolf powers!Wayte said:I think it's more the way teenage girls date.
