Well, here it is.

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2016/04/nkC6MH3.jpg

I actually find it kind of funny. From being "exposed" for all to see, her butt has gone to being so compressed her butt crack looks like it has been chiseled into stone.

Blizzard says it's a pose that fits her character, and while I can't disagree, I feel like it's just too playful. Everyone else is just standing and looking over their shoulders, but (hehe) now Tracer is all cool and is posing as if she were halfway through a skip. Her playfulness and quirkiness are kind of getting on my nerves now. I got the same impression from the recent short about Widowmaker.

So what do you guys think of the new pose?

It's fine. The old one was fine, too. It's kind of funny that the new one is based off an old pin-up model picture, though. Methinks Blizz is havin' a giggle.

I like how they replace a supposedly butt pose with one apparently straight out of pin up art... I honestly don't really understand anymore, I bet if you did a percentage analysis her butt still take about the % of space of the screen.

The real question is, however, why not have both? Whatever, at the end of the day I think these kinds of complaint are best ignore, I just hope the next time something like this will happen the company will just ignore the post (like they do with 99.9% of post, like the balance proposal that have hardcore math behind to show that an ability is OP, which is ignore and then inevitably fixed one patch after because it turn it out it is OP).

I'm offended because now I can see side-boob.

WTF Blizzard? I demand this be changed!

Well, this is going to be interesting. Cries of censorship now look like a joke. Those wanting to get rid of the butt still have the butt (and a pin-up pose along with it). And yet for the obvious trolling Blizzard is doing, Blizzard still seems like they'll come out on top.

As for the pose itself, I actually prefer it to the old one. It's more playful, makes her look less awkward, and doesn't put all the focus on her wedgie.

Okay everyone. It still has a butt in it. Can we calm down now? Your butt rights have not been infringed.

I'd like to think that a lot of people are feeling very foolish right now, but I doubt that the necessary degree of self-awareness exists among folks who choose to die on the hill of "buttgate".

That's not sideboob, that's her chronal accelerator.
I think he's talking about the part of her chest in the brown leather jacket style thing between the two white armor bits to the right of the blue energy circle thingy. It took me a bit to see it too, I admire those who noticed it themselves. I still have a lot to learn.

And just to be clear: my previous post was meant as a parody of this whole nontroversy. :p

I wonder what her name so first made the offence comment react to that? In saying so I bet she must of gotten hate messages by now.

OT- It look stupid to be honest by hey I kinda like their response to it.

Is it a bit too much to hope the CENSORSHIP!!!! crowd are maybe feeling a bit foolish, and self reflective after this?

As I've said elsewhere, its a cute, fun pose that (top me at least) makes me wonder if she has a thing for history.

Guess who's back, back again.....Tracer's butt.

This will be interesting to watch, because now they took a butt shot, and actually made it more pronounced in terms of her ass crack. Seriously, look at that wedgie.

I can see this getting even more outrage than the first shot, because the complaint originally was that the other the shoulder pose was too sexuallized for Tracer's character, as if she was too perky to be sexy. So they rerelease the pose, that still brings focus to the ass.

I mean you can say it is more of an upper body shot, but given the history of this pose the first thing people are going to look for now, is Tracer's tight ass.

It makes me happy, because they took a tame and mundane booty shot, and made an more pronounced booty shot. Which is awesome, because it sends a message that butts are okay. People have butts, and some people have really nice butts. Like Tracer, just look at that BOOTY!

I have the most peculiar feeling that someone's been played for a fool, but I'm not sure if it's us or Blizzard.

You know they came out with this in response to the cries, not completely separately, right? Like no one actually believes this would have been the new pose if no one cried censorship/foul. I mean that's both cheeks and one leg down. That's 75% of the original pose.

It doesn't make the protest look like a joke, it makes it look like it worked.

Same way how Bioware coming out with an extended ending to fill in the massive plot holes in Mass Effect 3 didn't make the people who were protesting the massive plot holes look silly. Its not a retro-active sort of thing here. And no one actually believes the way things went down was the original intent for either company.

Blizzard didn't handle this ingeniously. They shat themselves in public and eventually put on a new pair of clothes. But they didn't do it on purpose, and certainly not to then turn around and laugh at everyone who thinks there's shit everywhere because haHA! New Pants!

That seems like it would be an incredibly difficult pose to maintain for more then five seconds, but then I'm just incredibly unathletic. Aside from that, the stolen Mass Effect pistols are pretty cool, but I still can't shake the feeling that somehow, this is *still* corrupting daughters everywhere....

I mean, people outright ignored what Blizzard said in regards to the situation to fit their rage narrative. The whole thing was put to bed the day it blew up.
But whatever. This fits her much better. Which is why they took down the original pose to begin with.

You know that they said since day 1 this controversy broke out that they were going to change it anyway right? You all look fucking ridiculous now.
This is what they said since the very beginning. They didn't like the original pose anyway so they took it down to change it to something else.
That's really fucking it. This is the new pose. Whether or not people cried over it wasn't going to change the outcome. Unless for some reason Tracer was going to have one less pose option than the rest of the cast. Which you know wasn't going to happen.

This looks a lot better. Fits her better too. Surprise, surprise, a game with loads of sexy characters didn't remove a sexy pose due to a hatred of sexiness. Who would have guessed?
