Hey, welcome to The Escapist, etc. Don't worry about feeling out of the loop, you'll figure out the culture here soon enough. My one advice to you: Whatever it is that drew you to The Escapist in the first place (probably Yahtzee), don't watch/read only that. Expand, look at the other shows, the reviews, the columns, the news. Most of the interesting nerdy stuff on the internet gets filtered through here.

I recommend you watch Extra Credits. I also enjoy the various webcomics. I'd also recommend Escape to the Movies and Loading Ready Run. Those are all some of my favorite bits of the entertainment here.
