New Vegas Legion ending (SPOILERS)

Mostly i'm annoyed that they hyped that NCR Ranger armour so much on the box art and in the traliers and then you only see them at the very end and don't even get to properly use their cool armour!

There's a NCR Camp Alpha (Or Delta?) way above the Dam that has 2 Ranger Armor guards that are a pain to kill but hey, it's worth getting it early.

I only just discovered it a few hours ago.

Or if you're allied with NCR, they now have a set of Ranger Combat Armor and Ranger Patrol Armor in the NCR Ranger Safehouse. If not, then yeah, find 'em and kill 'em.

That's what you get for aligning with the Legion...

This is my thought. Seriously, go to The Vault's New Vegas endings page or watch the cutscenes on YouTube and tell me you could live with yourself.

Radioactive barrels from Cottonwood Overlook and bringing Boone to the Fort with me, the only way to travel.

I can't even ally with the Legion for the achievements. NCR, yes. House, yes. Wild Card? Oh yeah.

But not Legion. Fuck Caesar.

Also, I kinda don't have ammo for the guns I'm good with, so I've just got a bunch of grenades.

It's not really Obsidian's fault you tackled the final mission of the game and didn't bring enough ammo with you.

They warn you you're passing the point of no return after all, I can understand you're upset but it's kind of your own fault.

how could you not have 100 speech? thats like the most important skill in the game alonside Lockpick. And the last mission is extremly easy if you have the alien blaster.

What's the point getting to 100 when you can save the extra skill points and use Meeting People on the rare occasion you do require speech 90 (80 with Comprehension) or above?
Skill Magazines made New Vegas kind of simple...

Also, why not just make the difficulty very easy if you're having a problem?
Having beaten this part myself in the exact same situation - there is literally no way to open the inventory between loading that autosave and General Oliver talking to you - I do kind of get what you mean about this being a hard fight, but I was level 30 with something like 96 Unarmed (leave some space for an extra Pugilism Illustrated ) and about 500 Stimpaks, so I got by! Haha

wild card ... I MAKE THE RULES.
i was a great khan , a paladin of the brother hood and idolized by every faction in the game except powder gangers and right at the end Caesar. I who wield the great 110 damage anti material sniper rifle shooting incendiary bullets with all my lovely mark 2 war bots. I am the only true ruler of Vegas ,hover dam and Colorado , Bow down peasants.

but yeah i had awesome karma and i was a pretty good guy ... didn't find half the stuff in the game so iam cheating a bit with the all great fast travel anywhere lol Mod so i can keep playing while that iron mask buddy is waiting for me at legate camp...

Well I allied with Yes man and killed every other faction, so I don't know your pain, but the game was confusing as hell, I stole everything and killed so many damn innocents, but I still got the good ending...

All I need is a half-second to read Meeting People before the stupid ending dialogue comes up, but no, that's not allowed. You don't have a natural 100 Speech, then you don't get to skip the terrible end fight.
And by terrible I mean: psychic NCR Rangers shooting me even though I'm using a Stealth Boy and have a natural 100 Sneak skill, stupid maze portion filled with mines that cannot be disarmed, and then you get to kill the stupid general and a couple NCR heavies.

This autosave in railroad-land is the only save I have for a couple of hours and I have to deal with this BS just to get the Legion ending.

hahahaha, im not trying to be a jerk but if any of them saw you you cant sneak away and there is no way to not have them see you especially at the end. all you need is 1 weapon skill maxed out and you should be fine unless your really bad at the game, and if you were relying on stealth through the game then you have to realize that games today do stealth really bad even assassins creed has bad stealth.

The only achievement I actually have on my Steam record is my complete playthrough pimping for the NCR like the ghosts of Tandi and Aradesh were watching over me.

The lategame quests are such a slog that I rarely complete them. But I think my next character will be an achievement cleanup for the ones I don't yet have in the main run of play (except maybe Melee and Unarmed. It's just not in my nature to fight that close. I suppose I could cheat (a little GECK modding or console-command exploits), but achievements for that? Just seems morally reprehensible.

A patch fixed that. you get the armor WITH the NCR ranger house.

We argued before. I said the legion were nothing more than tribal savages with a pipe dream that will never last. They stifle actual progress for their short term progress. Since Caesar ain't gonna be around for very much longer, his dream will be just that -a dream-. It wont be long before the nature of man turns Caesar's legion into something worse if that's even possible. The same goes with Mr. House.

But even the developers say that ncr is spread so thin. And the Legion will survive if the Courier, Vulpes, or Lucius gain Leadership of it.

2nd: As for the psychic rangers, just pop in and out

3rd: If I had a choice I ended the game joining the NCR side

4th: Its helpful to have explosives.
