The marines were out raged. Popsicle, Hornett, and Isaac all raised there guns and openned fire at the Blood Lord, sending a hail of bullets directly at the barbarians.
Faren, being far behind the others, hears sounds of battle. All of a sudden, he feels the faint presence of Marcus. Knowing that he must make sure his leader is safe, he runs as fast as he can, to get within telepathic range.
Within two minutes of running, he is able to to get a stronger connection to Marcus. Faren then tries to send a telepathic message to him.
"Marcus, what is happening?"

Faren felt defeated for the signal wasn't srong enough for Marcus.
Then in the distance, smoke was jetting out into the sky.
"God damnit!" yelled Faren.
Faren trips and lands on his face.
He looks behind him and sees a dead peacekeeper.
"Oh shit!" screamed Faren.
Faren looks to see if this peacekeeper had a telekenetic orb transplant in his hand. After thorough examinatoin, he finds it and attempts to take it out. He then realized that it was an incredibly retarded idea, so he takes a sharp rock and cuts off the peacekeeper's hand.
"Sorry brother, but I find myself in a strange situation. Rest in Peace. You will not die in vain."
He looks at the dead peacekeeper's stomach and sees stab wounds all over him. He looks at his timer and realizes that he has been wasting a bunch of time. He takes off running towards the smoke.
"You will not die in vain!"

Vivaz continued to sit quiet comfortably in place as the battle rose up around him, raising a hand or casting a small spell to deflect bullets coming at him.
Taking out a scroll and pen, he started to take notes on the battle tactics and technology of the two groups. He was a netural party in this, having no investment in ether sides win or loss

After much running, Faren reaches the battlefield, seeing a magi just sitting with a pen and scroll not even being affected by watching tons of death around him, two dead soldiers, a mech, a soldier who looks like a trigger happy psycho, some peace keepers, a shitload of barbarians, a creepy guy who looks majestic on that fire breathing thing when the light kind reflects off of his armor, and Marcus.
Relieved to see his leader perfectly unharmed, he starts to focus on the battle. Using his telepathic powers, he attempts to block out all concentration on the Blood Lord's forces by putting his voice in their mind and annoying the living hell out of them. Which would hurt their communication and the ability to fight decently.
He suddenly realizes that he can't even try to break into the Blood Lord's mind.
"What the fuck?!" he yelled.

While trying to break into the army's mind, he silently prays that he won't go insane.

The telepathic bond between one person and another means that the telepathically gifted one and the other must hear eachother's thoughts. When joining with several minds it causes mental pain and sometimes even physical pain due to the many thoughts streaming through your mind. This usually results in insanity for the weaker Vroxanians, but through training with the military on his home planet, Faren has learned to suppress alot of this when joining several minds.

Isaac dived out of the blast of flame just in time. Slowly standing up, he saw Hornett get nailed by the grunts. Enraged, he brought the railgun to bear, and fired at the sniper. The gun was a loud, distinct BOOM sound for each time it shot, at the rate of about 2 bullets per second.
The large bullets flew through the air and hit two snipers. The first sniper took a bullet in the thigh, and two in the chest. He quickly crumpled over, and started grasping for air as blood filled his punctured lung.
The second sniper took 4 shoots to the shoulder, and it exploded in a spray of blood and flesh. He was thrown of ballence and fell over. Both snipers were covered in blood as Isaac took aim on the third sniper.
Marcus looked upon the carnage.
"ENOUGH!"
Marcus used levitation and the blood lord flew into the air, as did the soldier.
"Now, as peaceful negotiations have fallen through, I'm going to keep you levitated till I can decide what to do with you."

Forgive me; I've been busy getting screwed over by tech-problems, but I'm back now. Here's to resumed conflict!

Jon had retreated into the trees, but now he made his move.
"Silence, fool" he called, still hidden, "This is a chance to smash two leaders of these devil men, and I'll not let you take it form me!"
Suddenly, the thunder of guns erupted form the undergrowth, both from the deacons and their assault-class heavy weapons, and from the Cardinal's own guns, the ammo of which threatened to disembowel of ignite their targets.
The majority of fire was aimed at the flying and unshielded Negotiator, but other shots tore into the remaining forces of the boot lord, and one decon aimed a rocket launcher at Vivaz's dragon.
Vivaz waved his hand as his dragon disappeared into with a flash of light
"You just made a very, very poor choice Cardinal" he called, his voice booming loudly, and the magic lines across his body flared a violent red as he stood up, the chair and goblet returning back into the Earth as he snatched up his staff and pointed it towards the fanatics
"Disappear" he whispered as a stream of fire leapt from the staff, incinerating all in its path

The was a scream, and a burning body emerged form the forest, wreathed in flames, flailing forwards. It was ignored; expected to die, but just as the man was about the collapse, he gave one great lunge, trying to grab the Grand Master
From the trees came a low chuckle "Even in death, we still serve" came the Cardinal's voice, and the deacons began to repeat it like a chant, "Fight for all that is bright and good, my sons!"
Hidden from sight, the Cardinal took aim with Blood. One shot would be all that was needed; even a glancing blow would tear the body or rip away a limb. He sighted carefully, then fired. Immediately he moved, ducking between his deacons, then sighted again, and fired. He kept going, in almost constant movement, until the hammer clicked on an empty barrel, and he ducked behind a tree to reload

The Grand Master grabbed the man by the head and unleashed a torrent of pure energy into the man, causing him to explode as his body couldn't keep keep the increased power under control.
"Magi! To me!" Vivaz called and suddenly a group of men and women appeared behind the Grand Master
Fair enough. He was kinda asking for it...
One deacon cried out in religious fervour. He burst from the trees and through himself amongst the mages. For a moment he was still, silent save for a rapidly muttered prayer, then his body was ripped to shreds in a huge explosion as the grenades stepped to his body went off together.

"You two, start burning the forest! Aweds, start teleporting the wounded back to the City. Fdser, Hjyr and Ytsdr erect a barrier around ourselves, we can't have them fire anymore projectiles!"
The Cardinal smiled, and raised his hands in a gesture of mock-helplessness. "With what?" he asked sarcasticly, "All I have is Blood and Fire, and they would cut you down before you could move"

The negotiator's concetration broken, Isaac was dropped, and hit the ground with a thud. As the battle errupted he quickly scraped himself of the ground, and made a run to a rocky outcrop in the clearing. Realatively covered, he looked out. The two magi came riding out on their drakons, and Isaac opened fire. The first drakon took the hail of bullets head on, and let out a sickenning scream as it rolled over on itself, crushing the rider in the process. The second magi blasted fire at Isaac, so he ducted back behind the rock.
He looked up to see the zepplin almost above them. He switched on his radio.
"Bear Trap to Zues, situation hot. Cardinal at risk. Recomend send assistance over."
"This is Zues. Request ackowledged, over."
High above, Isaac saw the cargo hold of the blimp open up. Three mechs, and about ten marines jumped out. Soon their parachutes were open, and they were calmly drifting down to the clearing.
He looked up to see the zepplin almost above them. He switched on his radio.
"Bear Trap to Zues, situation hot. Cardinal at risk. Recomend send assistance over."
"This is Zues. Request ackowledged, over."

Marcus cursed at the situation and looked up to the dropping troops, he created a miniture black hole behind them, it's about the side of a large boulder, they got sucked in, and disappeared.
