Heh! Yeah, right. Like that spoiled playboy could ever be the obvious tactical and technical genius that Batman is... *rolls some more eyes*

This, perhaps the Wii lends itself to BBQ's or something?

p.s. Thats not a fanboy comment, I just affiliate the Wii with parties etc and groups of people together standing up.

EDIT: Thought bedrooms would be higher with people owning consoles living with their parents.

Toilette pokemon is the best kind of pokemon! What? Stop judging me!

Other than that, the living room armchair is really comfy. And my housemates would get upset if I moved the xbox to my room...

I completely agree on the toilet pokemon sometimes you just cant put it down...EVER!!!

Do they count handhelds? because if so, you're going to have to expand that map out. ALOT.

ALso, thats hardly surprising, considering most house holds that dont have multiple systems and multiple kids use it as the family console, and not Jimmy's console in his room while Jenny gets hers in hers.

Also, slightly off topic, but "other rooms"? Are they playing in a closet? OR the Bathroom?

I roommate with my younger sister and we have a fair sized TV in the livingroom. Obviously though the biggest screen is in my room as she has a kid and there is no way in hell they are getting anywhere near my TV. On the whole console thing we have a PS3 in the living room and in her room and my room has my PS3 and my XBOX 360 so a majority of MY playing time is usually in my room. My sister on the other hand i guess plays games in the living room more than not because we usually do that together and she uses the living room PS3 to watch netflix.

Well, the Wii *was* in the living room with the big screen (a shitty, 10 year old big screen), while the 360 is in my brothers room, on his shitty Zenith tv (the kind that is built into its own cabinet. Trying to read anything on that TV is impossible...)

On topic: I've always had all my consoles in my bedroom, even when all I had was a small b&w portable TV; this was less of a case of practicality and more a case of my mother is a couch potato and if anyone dares change the channel in the lounge she goes batshit. Soon I'm getting my own place which is 1 bedroom + lounge/kitchen so I'm going to move it all into said lounge for the sake of simplicity. Nothing beats a comfy sofa and a coffee table for a nice long gaming session.

Off topic: Coming from a architecture enthusiast, I absolutely adore that home design in the splash picture

Jesus Christ, Sherlock

leave some thinking for us!

on a serious note

really? I mean, really?

you don't even need a study for that

I mean, the living room usually has the biggest TV, and sofas

I play in my living room. I only got one room + a shared kitchen and bathroom, so I guess I play in my bed room, living room and study room, well, I do play some DS in the kitchen.
Got a 40 inch TV to enjoy the games so I don't care what my room looks like.

I find this encouraging. It helps to break the gamers as lonely people locked away in their rooms stereotype by stating that they spend their free time in a public space, supposedly surrounded by family and/or friends.

So what I'm getting out of this is that more people play the Wii on average in their living room, and kids play their Xboxs away from their parent's eyes in the bedroom far above the other two systems - where they can lock themselves up and get away with more.

Over all I'm not surprised.
