The difference between American and British houses is vast. Mental. Although ours are made of better material, so, y'know, they don't blow away, or collapse in harsh weather

why does the title say half of gamers play in the living room?
the data is about consoles.
surely someone who writes articles for escapistmagazine should know there are gamers on PC too?
My exact thoughts. Clearly this is some 'consolista' agenda.

...So... why does this matter?

I'm living with my parents still, so I play in the basement. But after I move out, the big, soft couch would make more sense... Then again, I play while sitting cross-legged on a lazy-boy chair. That's pretty comfy... Nevermind, I'm rambling now.

Pfft. Play in the basement for the best experience. None of that pesky "light" coming through the windows to deal with.

When I was little my consoles were out in the living room because my mom wanted to keep an eye on the games I was playing. Once I hit my teens, I moved my gaming stuff into my room. But I would really like to see the percentage of bathroom gaming, I know I played my Game Boy more than once on the porcelain throne. I could only imagine the look on my parent's faces when I yell out from the bathroom "I caught Mew-Two!"

So, 1% of people put their console and TV outside... What the hell is wrong with people?

Psht, assuming that I must play Pokemon while in the bathroom... Most of the time I actually am playing Tetris DS!

All of my gaming stuff is in my bedroom but that's because my dad holds the living room hostage.

I've always Gamed in either my RoomMate's room or mine. Gaming almost 4 meters away from the screen and not having a tight grip of a mouse just feels weird to me.

PS : Who would f*ckin' plug in a console in their porch, Patio, or bathroom?!
