Sony: PlayStation 4, obviously. PS3 will be supported for a while after PS4 comes out. PS4 will be basically an upgraded PS3.

Microsoft: Xbox Valhalla, if they keep the code-name which is unlikely but it would make me happy. It'll likely be mostly like an Xbox 360 (upgraded of course) but with some adjustments, such as a Blu-ray drive, motion sensing controller with built in rechargeable battery packs. I expect that the dashboard will be improved as well.

Nintendo: The Wii's success leaves them without financial motivation for a new console but they may produce something to appeace their more hardcore fanbase. Honestly Nintendo is rather unpredictable, the only thing I really anticipate is innovation.

Have no clue what MS would do.

Nintendo: They will do what they're doing with the DSi which is dish out an upgraded version of the Wii with some slight tweaks in it that will be pretty much no different than the regular Wii except with a new paint tool or something.

And it will sell like legal crack.

The Playstation Mindbox will come out in 2012. It will be a box shaped helmet that you put on your head, and hallucinate you are in a video game. It will contain injectors filled with LSD, and metal probes that will be jammed into your skull that emit electrical impulses, controlling what the Acid trip will be about.

Microsoft is coming out with the XBall420. It will be a land mind shape, that will double as a keg tap and a bong. It will only play FPS's or Madden. Every single frat boy will own one.

Nintendo is going to start to reproduce the Gamecube, saying that they didn't feel like it reached it's potential, and that they want to let it have another try.

I just did some searching and it seems I've somehow associated the Valhalla microchip which is planned to be incorporated into future Xbox 360 models as their new console's codename.

I'd like Xbox Valhalla much better than Xbox 1080 though. It's like the old Atari consoles with their seemingly random numbers.

I knew about the commanders, but I didn't know about 2 generals. I have no clue how the hell it's going to work, the generals I mean, I guarantee you that nobody would listen to them.

Now it's just bad actors, and generic SHIT. Just like gaming would become if say, Sony bought out Microsoft and Nintendo.

Hell I like Sony (I don't consider myself a Fanboy since I have all 3 consoles) and even I agree, same as if it was nintendo buying the other two out, same as Microsoft.

They would not 'combine and make the best console ever' they would combine and make stagnant shit that people would get fed up with and beg for competition.

There is no way Nintendo could POSSIBLY buy out Sony , Sony is like a 100 times the size of the other 2 , it's just that the other 2 only have to compete with just 1 division of Sony.

Microsoft might be able to buy out Nintendo , but not Sony , likewise , I don't think Sony could manage to buy MS , MAYBE they could ... who knows .

Sony will try to replicate the PS2 success, aiming for a functional console to go under the grunt of the Xbox sequel.

Aiming for an early release, they will open with guns blazing on the new releases. Aiming to go for the lowest common denominator in terms of traditional games, rather than 'Wii-isms' or casual titles.

Overall, expect a massive shift towards online play (we 'aint seen nothing yet). Given how technology is going, graphics may take a back seat. Consoles will aim towards being developer friendly, hoping to win in a titles war by attracting producers to them with easy interfaces and systems they can immediately grasp.

Think on what the PS2 could do towards the end of it's life compared to the start. Now, imagine aiming for that quality right from the get-go. Thats what i hope to see from the next generation. Graphically, i'm appeased, i want to see innovation and impressive stories. Gameplay twists and crazy concoctions.
