I'm failing to see a point here other than promoting a bullshit "us and them" mentality because they like something you don't and you like something they don't. Oh noes, differing tastes! How dare they be different than me!? BURN DEM HERETICS!

As for dubstep, how dare you touch one of Benny Benassi's latest songs and turn it into a steaming pile of shit. To everyone who reads this, listen to Cinema, the ORIGINAL GOOD VERSION, and notice how unique and catchy it is on its own merits. Splicing apart a song and mixing in WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUB everywhere is not art. Its the farthest thing from it. Yes music is subjective but I love Benny Benassi's music too much to let party-going frat-douches ruin what is actually good music.

Good is subjective. There are a lot of objective qualities to a song that can be discussed, such as technical merits and the skill involved, but whether or not you find it good comes entirely down to opinion.

Also, I listened to Cinema, both the original and the remix. I thought they were both awful, though to be honest, I find Benassi to be sub par at best. See how that subjective opinion works?

It's a parody of the various "Stupid Hoes" in the music business (mostly Li'l Kim). Notice the references to Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Shakira, etc.

She's also in her "Roman Zolanski" alter ego (think Slim Shady), who I think is supposed to be pretty insufferable.

Still, parody music shouldn't be bad all the time (especially since the likes of Lady Gaga and Shakira make pretty good music). It's a very mediocre parody, and a piss-poor song (although still not as awful as "Dance (A$$)").

I love the breakdown at the end, though. It makes me laugh every time.

(Also, the song is immensely better if you listen to it under the impression that Nicki is upset at a piece of gardening equipment.)

OT: I think the difference between good music and bad music is the matter of vulgarity depicted from the song, with no ironical or comical undertones behind it. She just made a 3 minute song singing about a "stupid hoe" in a voice that is clearly not her normal voice.

What the hell happened to class? You never saw Frank Sinatra sing a song about bitches without using some creative metaphors.
