A quick check on Amazon.com and Gamestop.com (both places where you can be assured that the console is in working condition and you won't get shot/stabbed/mugged/murdered/abducted) shows that the cheapest used Wii is $80 American, not what I'd call
extremely cheap for a used console now two (Nintendo) generations old. Add the $80 to the $10 upscaler and the tax/shipping charges and you're $100 in before you even get your first game. And if someone wanted
all of the games on the NES mini that's another $150, bringing the total up to (roughly) $250.
Why potentially invest two hundred and fifty dollars when another hundred or so would buy you a brand new, current, console where?
