the information starts at the 17:00 if that's what your only interested in.
So Nintendo finally finished polishing up their unified account system.
It's all unified on a system called a Nintendo Network ID.
With this ID, it will combine the currencies of both your Wii U and 3DS eshop data under one umbrella.
They also finally added the Miiverse feature for the 3DS. Which apparently will be used for not only the 3DS but the Wii U as well. All of this is also connected to the Nintendo Network ID.
As time goes on, they will integrate more and more of their services under this program.
Of course Reggie says not to worry though. If you want you can still use the money balance you have on your old account. So you don't have to repurchase for the Nintendo ID.
Big warning though. In order to buy games under your Nintendo Network ID in a combined balance you must use the same username on both the Wii U and 3DS systems otherwise it will register as a completely different network ID. Which completely defeats the purpose. So watch out for that.
Granted this says nothing about playing 3DS games on your Wii U and vice versa, but now that the infrastructure is out it should only be a matter of time before they implement that feature.
