Exactly. If a developer wants to make a pack of extra skins and weapons, I MIGHT spend a couple dollars on in (not often because what's in the game is usually plenty). If they make what is effectively a new game- with new missions, new storylines, new enemies, etc.- I will happily pay $10-15, or even more.Iwata said:I absolutely disagree. DLC's like "Undead Nightmare" or the Borderlands and New Vegas add-ons are easily worth 10 bucks. It's true that a lot of DLC is overpriced (Arkham City, I'm looking at you) but I don't mind paying more for good content.
That whole philosophy is one of the many, many, many reasons why capitalism is failing.Kahunaburger said:DLC should cost whatever people are willing to pay for it. Capitalism, ho!
Please elaborate? People (myself included) still seem to be providing goods and services in exchange for money.Alandoril said:That whole philosophy is one of the many, many, many reasons why capitalism is failing.Kahunaburger said:DLC should cost whatever people are willing to pay for it. There really does need to be some kind of benchmark pricing guides for dlc to be honest.
This. DLC could really do with becoming cheaper after while so that it doesn't feel stupidly expensive when the game is down to £5 or so.LetalisK said:I'm just pissed DLC maintains a constant price point and never seems to go down in price like the game itself.
