Even as i speak my Little brother and his Online friends are shouting at other players to "NO SCOPE! YOU $%&*$" and go beserk when they try to play normally.

Why do they call it "No scoping"? your using the scope! Even if it is just for a second

From what ive heard online, they have changed the name to quick scope, which makes sense, and now, it's called fat scoping. How the fuck did the little twats come up with that logic?!

You are joking right? I single handedly have to capture the intel in almost every game of 2Fort I play because everyone would rather play Engineer or Sniper to rack up easy kills rather than go for the objective.

I even had 3 snipers ignore the intel which I had gotten to the entrance of our base (in other words, 10 feet below their exact position) so they could snipe the enemy snipers.

That's 2fort, though. Probably the most hated map in the whole TF2 community because of the camping.

That is the only thing ruining Submission, the absolutely brilliant Capture-the-Flag-inspired gametype in Gears of War 2. It's a great gametype, but people are morons and like to just run around with the meatflag for kicks and giggles. I really wish people online weren't such douches...

I agree completely. I have some friends that say not to kill the leader, not to capture the flag, not to do whatever, and I pretty much just ignore the morons and do it anyway. I want to win the freaking game, dang it, and I'll do that if I have the power to.

I may get shot down for this, but when I played Halo 3 I actually found some games that had quite a bit of teamwork for things like CTF going on. The only other game where something like the OP describes hasn't happened to me is TF2.

I only play Team Deathmatch, I stopped playing Hardcore team Deathmatch because

1: The Respawn timer is made to infuriate me.
2: All people do is sit in bushes and Snipe. Twats.

I dont play objective based Gametypes because i like the idea of Killing the other team to win, Not getting to .

Easy solution: DON'T PLAY THE GAME, there is far better games particularly far better communities, your typical council estate likely has a better community than MW2.

Other solution: let your team do the grunt work, just kill people and blame THEM if anything goes wrong with the objective.

I think Quantum of Solace (WTF is that?) doesn't suffer through that. There's no rank system, and you earn credits in-game to buy the weapons, attachments, skins, and perks you want.

Problem is that there aren't that many people online anymore since Modern Warfare 2 came out...

OT: You get a lot of crap like that in WoW with people trying to do achievements (ie doing a boss event incorrectly for the sake of arbitrary points) when all you want to do is kill the guy, loot and move on.

There is one problem. In Team Deathmatch, there is a limit to kills. Also, everyone hides (also known as camping) because they want the game to go on longer and get kills easier.

In Sabotage, it is nicknamed "20-minute deathmatch" for a reason. The bomb is for show, not for planting. Why? I'll tell you.

By planting the bomb (200 exp or something) and having it explode (1000 exp), you get exp. Hooray for you.
By not planting the bomb, you and all of your teammates get an unknown number of extra experience while allowing you to play the game longer than you were in the lobby.
So, if you play Sabotage, don't plant the bomb or else you are a greedy person and I will look upon your whimpering form with contempt.
