I'm sorry but that is just so very stupid I had to reply.
Warning, rant ahead.
Religion implies faith. Atheism is the lack of faith in a religion. Atheists do no have to believe in ANY of the things you just said.
And let me make this as clear as possible, I don't care if I sound like a dick. EVERY SINGLE RELIGION IS WRONG. There has not, is not, and never will be a religion that doesn't contain a massive amount of contradictions and ridiculous claims with no evidence that make anything they claim either paradoxical, and thus impossible or just stupid and wrong. It is in every way perfectly acceptable to mock people who are wrong and refuse to accept that they are wrong.
And why doesn't anyone ever consider what faith means (at least the way it's used 99 % of the time)? Faith is the believe in something without reasonable evidence for the validity of said thing. Faith is illogical.
Your religions are illogical.
The atheists who complain are people who are annoyed by that kind of thing.
And have you perhaps considered that people might get angry at the several religions that insult, mock and belittle them?
Am I not allowed to get mad at a book that says all of my accomplishments mean nothing because I do not believe in god?
Am I not allowed to get mad at a book that says one of my best friends will go to hell for all eternity because hes gay, and calls it justice?
Am I not allowed to get angry at the fact that people follow this book like everything (well not actually everything, just what they've nitpicked) it says is fact?
I should just say nothing about any of this, because it's polite?
I'm sorry but no. Screw you, screw your faith, and screw that.
Thanks for proving me right, and thanks for proving Atheists as the most bigoted and intolerant people on the internet.
You claim what I said was "stupid" yet your post is filled with the same kind of idiotic ignorance, hatred, and arrogance as displayed by the Crusaders, Spanish Inquisition, and Third Reich.
Now on to those "books" you ranted about. Have you, or your friends, ever tried ignoring them? I mean if you don't believe in what they say, then what they say should have no affect on you right?
Unless of course, you're not actually an atheist and do believe in what they say. If so, then I suggest you come to terms with that as soon as possible.
No you are not allowed to hate someone because they don't see eye to eye with you. It's not socially acceptable anymore. This is the 21st century after all. Just the same as it's not socially acceptable to hate someone because they have a different skin color then you.
There is no constitutional right that says you have the right to rage at, and bully, people who follow a religion that differs from your own. (Yes, I just called Atheism a religion again. Don't like it? Too bad, cry more tyrant.)
In fact, you're violating the Constitution and Bill of Rights with your illogical bashing of other religions, and those who believe in them. It's called the Freedom of Religion. They have just as much right to believe in God, as you have to not believe in God.
But by all means keep up the illogical hatred, you're making Hitler proud.
However you're making the rest of us logical people who accept the fact that everyone is different, and are willing to tolerate them believing in something we might not believe in, ashamed to be of the same species as you.
(The preceding was NOT brought to you by some religious nut. It was brought to you by a rational human who is sick of seeing douchbags, who refuse to learn from history, trying to justify intolerance and hatred.)
