A friend and I were talking a few days ago. We were wondering when someone would make an unfounded link between the shooting and something the realm of conservatism.

Yes, because Sarah Palin called that guy up and told him to go shoot people.

You are trying to put a square peg into a round hole. It's always the fault of the conservatives that a nutcase went out and killed people. But when a liberal extremist does something similar it's, "Oh we had nothing to do with it, the poor guy had mental problems."

A crazy guy is a crazy guy, that is that. He had problems, it wasn't anybodies fault.

Though I haven't seen any signs of people making wrong claims like you have as of yet.

So I guess you are the first to take the wrong and cheap shot with this.

The liberal arsenal: Coincidences = Damning facts to use for political bashing.
I need to clarify something really quickly.

I don't espouse to either political party on pretty much anything. They pander to rhetorical BS that gets nothing done than get attention focused away from the bribes lobbying done from large corporations or people that can't get their vote in otherwise.

What my focus is on is looking at what people are viewing. Was the bullseye map done in poor taste? Yes, it was a stupid decision on her part. My political affiliation has NOTHING to do with that. Do I care if she's conservative, liberal or otherwise? It makes NO SENSE to disregard her poor political decisions based on what party she is affliated to. So kindly take the party system elsewhere. It's not something I view as necessary in a debate.

Yes, she did it, but you seem to have missed exactly what I wrote right at the end:
Make no mistake, the guy is crazy and this is being turned into a political thing when it shouldn't be.
The guy's craziness shouldn't be conflated with Sarah Palin. That's just what is happening in the Democratic camp. It's stupid, retarded and overall just worthless.

Hell, they aren't doing much better themselves [http://thehill.com/homenews/house/137141-stunned-lawmakers-struggle-for-answers]

Finally, I will just say this. There are more than two parties. If someone is dismissed for being liberal, conservative, Libertarian, Communist, Anarchist, Atheist, without being able to have a full on debate, it's really doing nothing to expand your own view, just limit it to nothing good.

-E- The guy's political views were all over the damn place anyway. He was neither liberal nor conservative. He was just a wacko with a gun. That is the sad state of affairs.

That one has nothing to do with her ability to govern.
At the time, it affected her fanbase while she was running with McCain. It's the beginning of elections and then this came up at an inopportune moment. Since a lot of conservatives tend to be Catholic, imagine how they viewed their Presidential candidate.

How can it be new in box if it's been open and defaced with a pen?

I do know of ONE 360 that went for over 150,000 dollars. That one was sold as a charity auction for the Red Cross the first year the 360 came out.

This is beyond retarded and has fuck all to do with the fact that a lot of people don't like Palin and everything to do with the fact that a million dollars is WAAAAAAY too high a price for a signed XBOX. I wouldn't pay more than $500 if it was signed by Palin, Obama and the Pope. Autographed shit just isn't that valuable. Famous people sign things all the time.

If it was signed by... I don't know... CEO of Bethesda or Valve, then it would be more appropriate.
So if it was signed by Todd Howard or Gabe Newell you would like it?

OT: Does this really surprise anyone? I mean, really, did anyone thing that an X-box signed by her would sell for a million dollars?

It does have something to do with her ability to reason and her ability to judge, which in term have quite a lot to do with the ability to govern. She's a massive advocacte of abstinence the whole religious marriage thing. But even her daughter shows that what she's advocating is worthless. Does she stop? Hell naw. That says something significant about her person.

I don't get all the hate for her. I'm not a U.S citizen, nor have I ever been there, so I certainly cannot make a call on the issue, but I've yet to hear anything bad about her - except a lot of hate, which seems to be for hate's sake. I'd love to figure out why this is so.
Its because politically she's a joke. Thats not even being mean, or rude. She has no real personality that would serve her well above the office of mayor, left her district of representation after less then a year, and just doesnt know what to say. I mean, yeah, Politicians make jokes, but when saw you can see Russia from your doorstep, and that can easily be taken against you, just.. just sense woman.

And on a more personal level against her, she's hypocritical, what with that knocked up teen daughter she has and she teaches kids not to get pregnant before marriage or whatever.

OT: I wouldnt buy this for ANY price for... well... for a few reasons:
1) its a 360, and I dont Xbox game anymore since the unfortunate incident of Drake of the 99 Dragons.
2) I just dont like Palin, period. her signature, to me, actually detracts from the 360's value.
3) I'm a liberal Democrat (so I've been told at least, for the majority issues), and if i had anyhting with that "maverick"'s signature, I'd have to trade in my Democrat card.

However, I can see why no one wants to buy it. First off, you're paying for a signature that is not worth the million+ dollars. Second, people who want the 360 to play and have Palin's signature dont have that kinda money. Thirdly, the people that do dont want the 360. Fourthly, the people that do have the money to get a regular signature, or the means where they would meet her.

So really, there's no real market for this.

It will soon be re-posted with a minimum bid of $10 and no one will buy it. Sarah Palin, like Dane Cook, is one of the few people who's signature can decrease an object's value.

Definitely something taken out of context, she knows that Africa is a continent. But of course to liberals, jokes or slips of the tongue that people make by accident count as facts against a person's intelligence.

Besides, there are 7 continents. I thought I might correct your mistake.
First of all, I count 6 continents because no one really counts Antartica as a continent due to it not having a permenant human population.

Second of all, no she did not know that Africa was a continent. And you can blame liberals all you want but that confirmation came from her own political aides back when she was running for vice-president.

Confirmed here:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5095495.ece
She also didn't know which countries are in NAFTA.

And here:
http://wonkette.com/404207/sarah-palin-thought-africa-was-a-country-not-a-continent

And video here:
<youtube=MWZHTJsR4Bc>

Again you blaming liberals for making jokes is disproved here as they were questioning her qualifications as a Vice Presedential candidate on FOX News.

Running for VP of the U.S. and not knowing who's in NAFTA is a huge issue man.

I personally don't know enough about Sarah Palin to say that I hate her or not. But something about a 360 signed by a politician, whether he/she be conservative or liberal seems to rub me the wrong way.

Also it's $1 million. Who's going to pay for that??

Actually, the guy specifically said that "this is being turned into a political thing when it shouldn't be". Don't jump on his case, he's just showing the example.

As for Palin, she's a known advocate for gun rights and has a reputation as a redneck right-wing gun nut like Charlton Heston. She also CHOSE to use crosshairs to show key states that the Republicans needed to 'recapture'. Yes the guy who committed the shooting is a nut with some serious social issues but you cannot ignore the fact that she INSPIRED this very thing. It's like telling a crazy person they can fly, and then saying, "don't blame me" when that person actually tries to fly.

If anything, the news issue should only create further backlash against America's crazy gun laws. Laws that Palin fully advocates and supports. No wonder it's being turned around on her. And how low have the Republicans sank? I have two words for you: "Birth Certificate".
My mistake, but my point still stands, because the guy said that Palin makes really poor decisions.

The decision to put crosshairs on the map/diagram, has nothing to do with the situation. It wasn't a poor decision it was just fine. The liberals just don't know how to think and create real connections between things to make arguments. Because the liberals used her diagram as a connection between the two things, doesn't mean it was a poor decision, it means that 99.9% of the time, liberals can't make sound arguments and attacks, they have to make relations to things that conservatives do that has nothing to do with the situation and makes no sense, no facts used.

*snip*(Second part is still out of context and unfounded)
Bull-crap Antarctica(this is how it is spelled, a simple right click fixes misspellings) isn't a continent. Calling something a continent has jack to do with population, it has to do with land mass.

And "no one really counts Antarctica", is a generalization. Try using it on a school paper and see what grade you get. Generalizations aren't fact, they prove nothing. For purposes of this comment, I sent out a few texts to people and talked to people near me. Guess what, all of them said 7 continents. So your "no one" is really only some people don't count Antarctica, people that don't know how a continent is determined to be a continent. Again, population has nothing to do with it.

Sarah Palin and a 360? 50 bucks, because you scribbled something on it with permanent marker.
