Once someone tried to convince me that he was allergic to water.

Humanity never ceases to amaze me.
Well it's not actually impossible if that's what you're saying. Still, it's so rare i'd be extremely skeptical of anyone who claimed they were.
I doubt it is possible considering we are something like 80-60% Water.
No no it's a real thing. It's INCREDIBLY rare, but there are some people who will get rashes and the like when they come into contact with water. Like I said though, the guy was probably talking shit since it's so rare.

As for the lack of ADA protection, that's too bad, although there may be some kind of equivalent over there. I'm actually getting a percentage of my tuition and books paid by the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, and you never know if there might be some obscure Canadian equivalent.
What I meant was "I'm in Canada, my post-secondary schooling costs $5000 a year".

It's very affordable.
Damn. Is that including room and board? Because tuition alone at a State University over here is around $4,000 a year.
No, but we get free public transit.

That's all buses, all commuter trains, and all subways.

Meaning the University of Alberta is a FREE thirty minute commute from anywhere in the city. Perfect for when you live in the city.

I think room and board is $2000 dollars extra, unless you're on disability.
Those words sound like : 'beg me for bullshit' type things....

Please explain what free public transportation is..... you must realize that it isn't really free, right? That.... and what do you mean by room and board is $2,000?

It's easy to call things free when you are a child and don't pay into something. I want to know what you really mean by these silly statements.

You really mean to say something else than your original post, so please take this time to explain what really happened.
Free public transportation: The University of Alberta pays for all your transportation, so you don't need to pay $75+ a month for passes.

$2000 Room and Board: I think the University campus hostels have an annual rate of $2000, but don't quote me on that.

What's so silly about that?

For me, it has to be the number of people in a "How long have you gone without sleep?" topic who claim times upwards of 3-5 days. We all know it's not true, and yet we don't bother to say anything.
actually i have gone 3 days without sleep so i could do work for a display that needed to get done, but i needed 5 hour energy to do so.

I'm sure this happens to everyone. You wander into a conversation, or perhaps an internet discussion, and someone will say something that immediately makes you think "No, that's bullshit", but you never actually say anything.

Whether this has happened online, with a group of friends, or you simply heard about it from someone else, come share your "No, that's bullshit" moments.

For me, it has to be the number of people in a "How long have you gone without sleep?" topic who claim times upwards of 3-5 days. We all know it's not true, and yet we don't bother to say anything.

Another would be people who self-diagnose themselves with various illnesses such as insomnia or bipolar disorder.

P.S: if you must mention something said by someone on the escapist, please refrain from posting exact quotes, or posting any names.
Well, once my friends' cousin was telling the group I usually hang out with that whenever old people go to the bathroom, they crap out parts of their organs. When I said that his "claim" was bullshit, he then proceeded to call me a fagot and say that nobody likes me.

Keep in mind that this was all around the group of guys I've known for around 10 years.
He's known them for about half of one.

That's actually pretty damn hilarious though. Sans the part where he calls you a ****** of course :)
Eh, something to laugh at.

It all worked out though, he dropped out of high school and had a monster-energy fueled heart-attack.

He now spends his days doing NOTHING but playing World of Warcraft.

[sub] Then again, that's all he was doing before. [/sub]

Personally i suffer from a rare mix of alzheimers and bolemia (spell check may be needed) it's liek nulemics, who will eat and eat and eat, but unlike them, i forget to puke afterwards.
Most people don't belive me and just says i eat (quantity-wise) liek a pig.

As for the insomnia thing, i think lots of people exaggerate, i wouldn't be supprised if every otehr perosn had some small sleeping trouble.
For insatnce i really prefer to go to sleep late and sleep late, but due to school it always result in me lying awake for some time, and then not getting up untill the last moment.
It's not imsomnia, it's not a medical disorder, i'm just too eager to keep doing whatever i'm doing (usually gameing) to go to sleep, and too much of a lazy fuck to get up in time to eat breakfest.
Add a slight bit if over-done exaggeration and you have insomnia.

Oh yeah, i make wales feel inferrior when we have dick-meassuring competitions, and i occationally swim across teh atlantic (i haev a dude sailing next to me to supply me with red bull to keep me awake but still)
i find your post very confusing... first of all, does your 'e' key jam or is that entirely on purpose? if on purpose, why?
and are you being ironically sarcastic in only the last paragraph or throughout. i find it hard to tell.
My key doesn't jam, i just tend to type a bit faster than i'm capable of, so i get a lot of typos, especially with letters switching place.

The middle paragraph is serious, and my point is that you could easily blow the smallest sleeping issues up to be self diagnosticed insomnia,
The last paragraph is sarcastic, and the first is halfway true, i don't have any mdeical disorders that i know of, but i do eat more than enough to people frown, without pukeing afterwards, and still maintain a good figure, but again my point was, that you could easily throw a fake diagnisis of something eitehr cool-sounding (like some peopel think insomnia to be) or something joking, like the alzheimers-bulemia.

The instance someone over the internet claims he has sociopathy and then continues to glorify the disorder.
