Non-Mainstream games your looking forward too?

What non-mainstream games are the escapist looking forward too.
Im hyped up for the Darkness 2 and Prototype 2.
What other non-mainstream titles are there that I may not have heard of?

Both of those are mainstream in my opinion by the fact that they both are sequels and are made by big budget companies.

OT: I'm looking forward to Gemini Wars (a space rts by One Camel) and Infinity (space mmo still in production, been in production for years, and at least a year more until the alpha comes out)

Well by non-mainstream I mainly mean, what are you looking forward to that isn't COD, Battlefield or Skyrim.

I've heard a bit about infinity and it sounds interesting.

Tomorrow, the Gundemonium collection hits Steam, and that's about as un-mainstream as it's possible for a game to be without being exclusively on a few floppy disks in the houses of the designers' friends. And it's only ten dollars. And it's pretty much Touhou with an official outside-Japan release.

Eff yeah. And I know a lot of you guys like Touhou, or at least other Japanese games available on Steam (Recettear mostly) so give it a shot. Tomorrow. Or get it on PSN right now.

(At least, it's slated for November 27 for ten dollars for all of them.)

Edit: Sorry, I got the date wrong. Twice. Firstly, the game comes out September 27. Secondly, I'm in a different time zone, so the American 27th is my 28th...

I know, beating on a dead horse, but how can you get more mainstream that Prototype 2? Even Skyrim gameplay is less usual that a open world super hero explorer.

Darkness 2 and Prototype 2 are well known. I would have added Darksiders 2, the Witness, Last Guardian and Ico/Sotc if those counted.

Nuclear Dawn gets released today! It's a FPS/RTS that works all around. Small company that managed to get enough funding to develop an actual game instead of a free mod that what it was supposed to be

I had no idea that The darkness 2 or Prototype 2 were well known, most people I know haven't ever played or heard of them. Must just be the people I talk to usually then

Im kind of excited for Darksiders 2 but im waiting for more info on it.
I just looked up dishonoured and instantly thought must buy.

Does Dark Souls count? It is pretty darn hyped, but in the end only a few will buy it and even few will complete it. I still consider it a non-mainstream game even with all the hype.

Yeah, it's not what I would consider that mainstream. I haven't really looked into it but I heard the previous game, demon souls wasn't too bad.

I loved the first game and can't wait for this next one. I think it's following the normal dark ending which the books didn't do so it should be interesting.
