As for a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. MMO, i wouldn't want one as it detracts from the whole, almost uninhabitated Zone which the game potrays pretty well.

While I'd like a multiplayer S.T.A.L.K.E.R., as other people have said, it would detract from the feeling of the zone having hundreds of "lol wtb stone flower 4 3 vodka!" spouting simpletons.

If there was to be a multiplayer game set in the zone, it would probably be better if it was closer to Left 4 Dead, in which you set up a small group to play through a story together.

Damn, someone really needs to make a Co-Op mod for it now.

Wing Commander (Think WCrivateer)
Mechwarrior (Think MW:Mercenaries)
UT (Think tournament style elimination like every month, and maybe some on-going battle with the Skaarj so you have NPCs to practice on)
Dawn of War II (Think Warlords Battlecry style heroes level between battles, except you can have huge battlefields and jump-in-while-it's-going-on style come-and-go team battles.)

I can go on. Many games would be wonderful if put in MMO format. Who wouldn't love the AI to be another player, eh?

Fallout 3 could definitely work as an MMO.

Fallen Earth might be something along those lines
