As long as you don't put down people for liking certain games and avoid commenting on the Politics section (its an internet law that you make 5 people hate you when ever you say anything on those forums), you should makes friends easily.

My piece of advice: read Lord Krunk's Banhammer Thread at the top of the page. If you abide by it, people here will have no problem with you.

Trolling, flaming, even posting unimportant stuff just for the sake of posting are all frowned upon. I used to post dumb stuff, and while I never got hit by the hammer of bans, I did feel really stupid afterward.
