I do this too.twcblaze said:I verbalize my thoughts pretty often, not only because I think of it as a good way to collect myself by literally "thinking out loud" but because it's funny when someone thinks I'm talking to them about the random stuff that goes on in my mind.
Holy shit. I do the exact same thing. Sometimes he slays imaginary monsters and chops down scenery with an axe though...Ethereal said:Sometimes, on long road trips, I pretend there is a little man running alongside the car, jumping over obstacles.
This is weird yes?
I have to fold my money into squares before it's in my wallet. and I try to keep coins in stacks from biggest at the bottom to smallest on the top.tjcross said:and thats weird? i do the same thingVault boy Eddie said:I line up my money in my wallet from small to big bills. Add me to the list then.Doxcology said:Hahahaha, I actually do that too.Ethereal said:Sometimes, on long road trips, I pretend there is a little man running alongside the car, jumping over obstacles.

this actually just reminded me, I always keep a quarter on me at all times with no intention of spending it... you never know when you'll either 1) be bored enough to flip a coin or 2) be indecisive enough to need a good ol' fashioned coin toss to answer life's little pointless questionsArchemetis said:I have to fold my money into squares before it's in my wallet. and I try to keep coins in stacks from biggest at the bottom to smallest on the top.tjcross said:and thats weird? i do the same thingVault boy Eddie said:I line up my money in my wallet from small to big bills. I keep a quarter on me for similar reasons...if someone asks me for advice and I really have nothing to tell them, I pull out a coin and say "heads, (choice A), tails, (choice B), and you're gonna have to stick with whatever my coin says." Funny thing is, this usually prompts them to a decision because they really do like one option more than the other. They're like "No, no! Don't flip! I'll take B."twcblaze said:this actually just reminded me, I always keep a quarter on me at all times with no intention of spending it... you never know when you'll either 1) be bored enough to flip a coin or 2) be indecisive enough to need a good ol' fashioned coin toss to answer life's little pointless questionsArchemetis said:I have to fold my money into squares before it's in my wallet. and I try to keep coins in stacks from biggest at the bottom to smallest on the top.tjcross said:and thats weird? i do the same thingVault boy Eddie said:I line up my money in my wallet from small to big bills. edit: also, whenever I tell anecdotes, in real life too but especially on forums, I like to add any funny dialogue for emphasis and reference.
I do the same thing, only I find that it helps me concentrate so I'll usually talk to myself if I'm trying to do something.(Ex: "Press b, swing to the ledge, jump to the pillar...") And I have no schizophrenia whatsoever.Soviet Razor said:I like to talk to myself. I don't have schizophrenia, it just helps me organize my thoughts. Doesn't stop weird looks, though.
exactly, and it's always great when someone says "hey, do you have a quarter?" "yeah." "can I borrow it? I want a soda." "Nope." "Why not?" "Well... if I let you have the quarter... how will I decide where I'm eating later... or if I should go left or right... or any of the other COUNTLESS possible situations that could arise within the time it takes for me to go get a new quarter, huh? Jerk."SimuLord said:I keep a quarter on me for similar reasons...if someone asks me for advice and I really have nothing to tell them, I pull out a coin and say "heads, (choice A), tails, (choice B), and you're gonna have to stick with whatever my coin says."
