Cartoons will never be what they once were.

DBZ was a huge one for me. Ed edd and eddy too. OH MY GOD SO MUCH NOSTALGIA. D:

Therefore, I don't feel it'd be right of me to include cartoons from before than, as I never experienced them, so I can't relay or properally exhibit what made those shows special.

Also, remember a time when you didn't have to be afraid of showing Mr. Popo from Dragonball Z as a certain color that WASN'T blue (I'm looking at you Dragonball Kai)

To name but a few:

Beast Wars, Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Pokemon, Digimon, Animaniacs, the Angry Beavers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Teen Titans, The Powerpuff Girls, Ed Edd n' Eddy, Batman Beyond, Justice Leauge/Unlimted, Gargoyles, Dextrer's Laboratory, Invader Zim...

...Okay, that's not really a few. But those were the good old days, when cartoons could get away with jokes you wouldn't get until you were older.

Unlike now, when the majority of shows on kid's tv stations are either mediocre at best, or annoying tweenie pop bullshit.

Who else remember the dark times when Cartoon Network started advertising itself as, "More then just cartoons..." and became "CN Real"? I still think it's trying to recover from that slippery slope of fail... Abandon some of the shows that follow the 'Flapjack Formula' (A.k.a. unintelligible dribble relying on gross out, unfunny, random humor to try and be 'entertaining') and bring back Toonami and it might actually make me watch TV again.

The day toonami was canned was the day me childhood died...

Hey man thanks for this great nostalgia tour. I live in Holland, so I didn't have half these shows, but I got quite nostalgic when I noticed that I still remembered the lyrics from Pokemon and Digimon.
