Deus Ex... possibly my most favorite game evar...<.<

I know it hasn't aged well at all... but it's ambition and uniqueness just shines through it all...

Legacy of Kain. All of 'em. From the top-down pixelfest of BO1, to the highlander II-esque WTF of BO-2, the box-shovey SR1, to the 'Shit, MORE of these things' demons in SR2, through to the 'Fuck you player, I wanna look at this unoffending bush while things beat you up off screen' camera of Defiance.

Come on Amy, you beautiful goddess of awesome. Finish the damn story so I can die happy.

While we're on the subject of games that desperately need a sequel. Freelancer. Do. Want.

Remind me of those levels. I remember there being some bad levels you go into but I can't really think.
The Spanish inmate's mind, a Spanish town that's all coloured in neon colours & black. There's a bull charging around the streets so you have to make your away across through & above the buildings, & fighting four wrestlers who represent his bullies in highschool.

The other is kind of like a big map of some French place, as sort of board game, in the bloke who thinks he's Napoleon half the time. You have to do all these little errands for the guy's pieces so he can defeat Napoleon at the board game.
I didn't think neon Spain was that bad.
Black Velvetopia and Waterloo World weren't that bad. Where it goes bad is Meat Circus.

Quest 64. It's graphics aren't exactly pretty, the AI is a bit... odd, it's 100% linear (though there are a couple side-quests) and the music was somewhat lacking in instruments... But the concept was fun, the story was decent, and despite the relative lack of selection of instruments, the game pulls off some great tunes. Like this one:

'nother one.

Vampire, The Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Couldn't get through one damn quest without a crash to restart on release, game questionably 'fixed' by community patches. Still ranks up there as one of the better FPS/RPG titles I've ever played.

Modern Warfare 2, With its epically unbalanced fail multifuck of a multiplayer, nothing was more satisfying than getting a nuke.

Morrowind: Awful combat system. Cliff Racers. UI is crapsicles. I also don't appreciate being called an n'wah.

But it's the game that made me a 'gamer'. It had such an amazing, open, and detailed world. The sheer amount of content, coupled with the brilliant writing just made it... I don't know. I don't know how to describe it. But Morrowind, is far and away my Number 1 game of all time.

Final Fantasy 8, Fallout 3, Knights of the Old Republic.

I would say Super Metroid, but Super Metroid has no flaws.

Morrowind is definately the one. Nothing better than playing it for the first time, going to smack someone over the head with a sword and getting absolutely nothing. Genius.
I remember randomly attacking the woman in the lighthouse in Seyda Neen with my sword. She punched me to death. o_O

Then the game won me over when I came across a Wood Elf swan-diving into the ground from 500 feet in the air.

Your ideas interest me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. Legacy of Kain is one of my favorite series of all time - I even enjoyed Blood Omen 2.

I usually hate stories with Time Travel too, but I think that Legacy of Kain is one of the few in ANY medium that handled it well.

Ghostbuster's

The recent one.
Wich my character wasn't this faceless person, who's only called by, "rookie".

Not to mention, some of the puzzles were a tad annoying, especialy when you find out how... and the way the ghosts swarm you and take so little damage.

Well, Yahtzee sums up all the flaws in the Ghost battles.

MGS3. Regardless of all its MANY flaws, they are overshadowed by its stupid amount of awesome.
Whenever I hear that theme I just have to whip out a salute and cry manfully.

minecraft, it isnt my absolute favourite, but its my favourite game that i know lots of people hate, i can see why, when you describe a game as "you play a guy in a never ending world made of blocks mining for diamond so you can make diamond tools to mine for more diamond" but something about it is just awesome

Fallout 3, let's just say it's not the most stable game out there.
Agreed, it is a great game.
-But I had to get 3rd party bug fix to get it working properly.

WoW
-It is a great game, but riddeled with issues and bugs. But you get used top them and learn to work around them.

Dark Cloud / Chronicle.

The plot in both games is pretty cheese heavy and the gameplay can get a bit tedious, but man, oh man do I enjoy the hell out of these games. I still regret selling my PS2 to this day because I wanna play through these again so bad...need to buy another PS2.

Erhh, every single game I've ever played? :D

Nah, I dunno, but I tend to not really care about the bugs and the bad designs and boring parts, because they're usually outshined by the vivid river of awesome that flows throug them. ME 1&2, Fallout 3&NV, Fable 2, Saints Row 2, Pokémon Heart Gold&Saphire, Mirror's Edge, Dragon Age Origins, Portal, We <3 Katamari, Rayman Raving Rabbids... and the first bunch of Tomb Raider games, especially Angel of Darkness which I always played with my dad. Good times.

Yeah, I agree. I know it was meant to be difficult but it was frustrating at the least.

It was so difficult because Raz was fighting his own, personal demons, I guess. Still, annoyingly tough.

Also, yeah, I get that a lot.
