In vanilla Fallout 3 and New Vegas you can dismember people with a grenade, in Skyrim you can routinely impale or decapitate people, both games allow you to set people on fire: yet the nude mods for those games are considered "adult content".

So yeah, if someone can't handle the idea that they might see Geralt of Rivia's penis, maybe they should only play games rated E.

I'm unbothered by nudity in either gender, as long as it's not really shoved at you (no pun intended), it doesn't really phase me that much.

What? You don't have home and away change rooms? Or you have punch ups with your teammates? I have never heard the like. We forbid that kind of "fraternization" where I'm from. We shower with our team mates, and only our team mates.

As for nudity in games, I don't mind it in context, for shock value, or for humour. What I don't like is pandering and fan service. Somehow I am more upset by the depiction of women in Mass Effect 2 than I am about The Witcher.
Depending on the level :p, county yah we had seperate changing rooms with showers, local legue your lucky if you get a changing room that has a door on it so sharing showers is common ^^

I don't mind nudity (male or female) if:

1) It's in a game marketed at teenagers or adults
2) It serves a purpose related to the story or aesthetics of the game, and isn't there just for the sake of it.

Though I think games in general should avoid nudity unless absolutely necessary.
Treat it the same way as films would. Arrange camera angles to censor, fade to blacks, that sort of thing. But for the love of god, don't make it look terrible!

Dark Souls had an interesting example with Quelaag, with her Censor Hair (TM). She was naked, but you didn't see anything, and her wearing clothes would have raised more questions. If the Censor Hair (TM) was gone, I wouldn't see a problem with it, but the fact that it was there made me more comfortable to play that game when younger siblings were around.

A good example of this would be Bayonetta. The whole nudity deal made no sense to me, but it didn't really bother me since it was a female character (I never actually played more than the demo), but if it was a male character in her place It would DEFINITELY put me off of the game.
Oh, Bayonetta has Censor Hair as well. But honestly, Bayonetta is like the 40K of oversexualisation in video games.

Wouldn't be phased in the least and would welcome more nudity (for BOTH genders) in general, I feel people are way too puritan about nudity and sex when our media has no qualms about glorifying violence.

Course its worth noting im heavily influeneced by my upbringing in france. Seeing both the male and female body nude for purposes of advertising is very normal (seriously, you can walk in the street and see an ad of a nude woman for a pharmaceutical advert, followed by the exact same one for a male for some body gel, all in the street and no1 bats an eye lid there), and portrayals of nudity are less shocking so for example its perfectly normal to see nudity in a teen rated film in france. And I honestly believe they got the right attitude.

In the games I play, there's no point to nudity.

If Yeesha is delivering an important speech about the fate of the Bahro, having her brood in the nude wouldn't add anything, it would take away the solemnity.

If Faith is busy bullet-dodging and leaping from building to building, the last thing she needs to take off her sports bra.

If my citizens are gathering for a festival in Pharaoh, the dancers are wearing fancy dress, it would be less interesting to watch if they didn't.

In "The Binding Of Isaac", they don't ahm um ahem... hrmf... uhh... right. Never mind.

As long as the character poses the nudity in a nonchalant manner, I'm all for it.

You know what would actually be clever? Not showing the naked body at all. Instead, imply the nudity by portraying the faces of the eye witnesses, only to then let the streaker address the reaction.

See what fun things you can do with a little bit of subtlety. ;)

If nudity or sex scenes in a game further the plot or create a deeper immersion i'm all for it, simple really. I would have no issues seeing a dude naked in a game, doesn't bother me in the slightest.

And get this...

I'm straight! :O and im okay with full frontal male nudity WTF!? call the internet police i must be gay
Already called them, A squadron will arrive at your house shortly.

OT: I guess if devs are showing female nudity there may as well be male nudity. Although there should be a damn reason unless its a game like Duke Nukem
