President Obama left today after his two-day visit to Poland.
Of course it's customary to give eachother gifts. The gifts from Polish officials were as follows:

an iPad with some Polish movies and clips
the broken pen that refused to work when Obama was signing the official guestbook. (good sense of humor imho)
a set of Sapkowski's books with the author's signature (he wrote "The Witcher" books)

...and...as the subject says:

The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition.

Now I kinda expected something cliche like some regional crafts or something...but this surprised me in a very positive way :)

"My fellow Americans, I plan to lead this country into a new age of prosperity... as soon as i finish this quest"

In all seriousness a gaming president would be interesting to have.

Wow thats got to be the best gift ever given to any president ever...... A broken pen.
Oh yes i guess if he played xbox he would enjoy witcher (Or whatever console its on) but a broken pen seems a bit of a joke.

Well more and more people are into games, just remember next time you're playing online you could be playing with a suspected murderer or a world leader. Don't know why this is surprising but then again there was an urgent news update last Wednesday showing Obama going into a cafe so apparently everything that happens to him is newsworthy... (either that or the BBC had a slow news day)

It's not out for any consoles. It's a PC game through and through.

Well, there is talk of it coming to consoles.

I think it's a damn fine gift. I really like the Collectors Edition. It's just a shame my sculpture was broken on arrival. Fortunately CDP have said they'll replace it.

I hope that becomes standard practice. Like he goes to Japan and they give him a copy of Yakuza 3.

That's a bit silly.
I love the game, but I don't think it's a suitable gift for someone who isn't known for being a PC gamer.

Bullshit. I've played Counter Strike with him a couple of years ago. He's an excellent sniper.
