I just hope that the white radicals and racists will swallow their foolish pride and not try anything stupid. Obama won, that's it let's move on, not brood and plan on doing something that we will regret. I would hope that the U.S. would learn a little tolerance in this situation, and let the man lead.

And that is your opinion, and one that won't earn you a size 12. I did this, I looked up both candidate's, and their views on all the issues, and made my decision based on that. I respect anyone willing to stand by their candidate, all I ask is that people be tolerant to my opinion, and try to bring me down for my choice. I respect John McCain for serving our nation, I just didn't think he was the right choice for me.

What Im getting at is segregation ended a long time ago and the inequality between races has all but disappeared so a system like Affirmative Action is outdated.

That's like saying your toes fell off from frostbite but now your foot is warm so your toes must have grown back.

Yeah the simile would be more appropriate for of a genocide during the 50's of African Americans. Personally I feel its more along the line of you have 3rd degree burns and now that you have time to heal you don't have to look at the scars. That would be more appropiate.

3rd degree burn scars can cause massive amounts of pain. They sometimes have to take, uh, affirmative action and put inflatable medical balloons under the skin to get the skin to slacken enough to relieve the pain.

I think that that the whole 3rd degree burn discussion has gone on too long. Looks like it has stopped, and that's probably for the best. The topic is Barrack Obama making history, not the burn ward.
