This is not a dinosaur.
I've spent the better part of my life trying to explain that to people.

Anyway, I hate it when people leave doors which were shut before they walked through open. Especially when they're not planning on coming back. We are not a race with ten foot tails, we have no reason to leave a door which was shut for a reason open.

ohh ohh let me guess....its osmthing to do with their legs right? having a set of ankles that do somthing?...
Either that was a wild guess or a slightly educated guess.

But yes, the legs (pelvic bones specifically) along with the gait do play a massive part of dinosaur classification.

Pteranodon, Plesiosaurus, Mosasaurus, Elasmosaurus, Tapejara, Ichthyosaurus etc. do not fit into either saurischia or ornithischia and are therefore not dinosaurs.
slightly educated :p I used be a huge fan of "walking with dinosours" when I was a kid..it was eather there or somwhere else I remember "the definituon of dinosour is *somthing to do with ankles/legs*"

also its got somthing to do with the connection modern birds

Haha, I had a feeling.

I said "slightly" because you got the leg part right, but you got the ankle part wrong.

People who post intentionally vague status updates on their facebook, then act like nothing's wrong when people do talk to them.
I mean, you obviously want to talk about something. You don't just post 3 dots (... like that, I've seriously seen just that) for the sake of it. And then when people do talk to you, you brush it off???

GAAAHHHHHH!!!

Also, passive-agressive notes.
I hate that as well. I also hate when people post something like this, "I am about to take a shower." Thats all they post. Do you think your so damn important that we need to know that your in the shower. At least have a amusing story or have it go somewhere. My cousin does this crap all the time.
I don't mind the pointless excerpts from your everyday life, but what really gets my goat are those cryptic phrases taken completely out of context. Like, one of my friends posted "You just don't have the right to say such things after letting me down like that!" on their facebook wall. Who is the message for? What was said? I don't have a clue, no update before or after went into detail or even acknowledged this one. Facebook isn't Lost, stop being so damn cryptic!

This is also why I stay away from twitter. Because pretty much everything there is like reading bits and pieces from one side of a conversation you're not present for.

OP: When I have to answer the house phone when I know it's not for me, pisses me off to no end. My mum can just get up and answer the phone herself she knows I'm gona hand it to her anyway.

Something that really rattles my flaps is something that a lot of Americans (especially females) do when they are argued against, are told they are wrong or in any way justifiably criticised.

They raise a hand (with one or more fingers extended) in placation and, with some ridiculously over-exaggeraged head movements, go "Oh, okay...!" and then (more often than not) launch into a load of irrelevant prattle that just makes me want to do something illegal to them with a scaffolding pole.

Just the "Oh, Okay...!" is enough to drive me mad because you know what's coming next (see above).

Also, I would like to point out that it's not JUST American females who do it, it's just that in my own experience they are the more guilty of it than others.

That and people who use "txt-spk" when using a PC / Laptop or anything else with a full keyboard...

Most of the "text speak" or various tricks that folks do to add emphasis to their IM, text or forum posts tend to make me roll my eyes a bit.

Over use of capitalization, using letters or numbers instead of words blatant abuse of exclamation points. It all strikes me as more than a little silly and usually pointless but I've more or less resigned myself to the fact that I'm an old fart and this stuff isn't going away.

The one thing that does still infuriate me is when people incorrectly add extra letters to denote sarcasm or emphasis.

something like "Riiiiiiiiight" or "This is so Stuuuuupid." may be incorrectly spelled but you understand the tone that the typist might be trying to get across.

The incorrect use of this technique is as follows.

"Rrrrriiiiiggggghhhhtttt." or "This is so SSSSSSTTTTTTUUUUUUUPPPIIIIIDDDDD."

You sound like a stuttering moron if you try to pronounce words written like that.

(Not that people suffering from this particular speech impediment are "morons" I'm sure you or your family memeber are fine upstanding citizens of the world.)

They're prehistoric reptiles, but they do not fit within the classifications of dinosaurs.

Of course it is much more in-depth than just that.

Pterandon and Tapejara are part of the pterosauria order, whereas elasmosaurus and plesiosaurus are part of the plesiosauria order.

Sometimes there are superorders which encompass other orders, one of these is the superorder dinosauria which is made up of the ornithischia and saurischia orders. Because neither elasmosaurus, plesiosaurus, pteranodon etc. are part of those two orders...they are not dinosaurs.

Strangers (Only strangers for some reason) that walk -really- close behind you, I feel like turning around and punching them -_-
similarly, i hate old people who walk side-by-side, fill the pavement and go at about 1 mile a year. then stop at the side of the main road of my town for a little chat. same with pregnant chavs who have two prams, four dogs and their husband/boyfriend carrying about three shopping bags of beer and pasta, and they brought the whole damn family along.

i hate them too. and, on an MLP server, you will be torn to shreds for planting sky-trees (someone was making towers of dirt, planting tress on them then getting rid of the dirt. i liked them).

You have no idea how annoyed I was when I saw the forest around my buildings floating in mid-air because the incompetent lazy shits couldn't be arsed to climb up there and finish the job. Their lack of aesthetic sense just makes me want to fill the land with tnt mines.

As for one of mine, I hate it when people open windows, leave doors open near those windows and then do nothing when the doors constantly knock the frame because of the draft that they fucking let in.

One odd one that annoys me is when light switches don't flip up for on and down for off. I've run into this once or twice, but the main issue is with my parents' home. The basement and hall both have two light switches. When both are on, it makes me rage. I don't know why but I want to beat someone when it happens.

When I'm doing something on my phone (Google searching, playing a game, etc.) and someone feels the need to lean over and obtrusively look at what I'm doing. Also, if I get some sort of new electronic device (In my case, it was a Kindle Fire) and whenever I take it out to read, someone in my class feels the need to exclaim, "Whoa, you got one of those?!" Seriously, can I just enjoy my Christmas gifts, rather than have to explain them to every dumbfounded idiot in my class?

The terms "Salt and Pepper Hair" and "South Paw." Yes, I get why people use them, and it's hard even to explain why i dislike them; I just don't like hearing them in conversation.
