ODDWORLD STUDIO'S IS BACK!!

To anyone who played the brilliant Abe's oddsey on PS1 and the awsome sequal Abe's exodus,the studios who made it called oddworld studios went out of business after the awfull stranger's wrath game.Well they are back in business and are making a new title which I have heard rumours is a remake of Abe's oddsey! So who else is phyked about this?

And if anyone has'nt heard of them, feel free to ask about them, but if you have a active playstation 1 and can get hold of a copy. I advise you do!

I never played any games that Oddworld Studios released, but I heard about them many years ago when my older brother was playing Abes Odyssey and Munchs Odyssey. These games stuck out to me because of the unique artwork they displayed in their work and they never hesitated to think outside the box with their characters and art direction.

Might want to change the world 'awful' in the awful Stranger's Wrath to 'didn't sell well' before a mob of fans descends upon you and tears you a new neck stump.

That said, awesome news :3 I'm tempted to buy it all again in the Steam sale, you can get all four games for ?12.49!!

Munch's Odyssey was fantastic, it was like an acid trip on crack. The gameplay wasn't anything too special though.

As long as they are 2D, like the first two games, and have Abe as the main character, I will guarantee that I will buy any game they make.
No promises for 3D games, with or without Abe as the main character.
Unless they do it well. With Abe.
Abe made the series, they should stick with him. Not these new characters.

strangers wrath was awesome! the first one was awesome as well! munch's Odyssey wasnt that great! but believe they also talked about strangers wrath was being re-released on PSN! which i cant wait

I never actually completed Abe's odyessy, got stuck on the part where you have to do something with the two different species, and I only ever played the demo of Abe's Exodus, which only had the first level. Let's hope that the new game will be as good as they were at the time.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is my all time favorite game. I'm glad to see the geniuses behind it and it's sequels are coming back.

It's been long confirmed that the new game was a remake, I think it was of Strangler's Wrath, and it's a PSN exclusive due to the game being 0.1Gb over the XBLA size limit.

They are on PC too. But yes, I'm excited about this providing it's a faithful 2.5D remake and not some jump into 3D like the recent ones were.
