I have Aspergers. Do I feel upset when someone says the word "retarded"? Yes. Do I beat the shit out of them for saying it? No, because, unfortunately, its the word of the generation, along with "Gay". Mister Dyslexic is an over-reacting drama-queen, who, one day, will over-react at the wrong person, and have his "Dyslexic" teeth, punched out. Such is life, unfortunately.

Honestly you should take no offense being called a "retard" for having Aspergers. I have two brothers with Aspergers and one of them is a certified genius, and the other is one of the best drummers around these parts.

As for the dyslexia debate, I second your notion.

To me it just seemed like you were posting for sympathy over something that didn't happen to you. But if you want to post one word replies from now on I guess that's your prerogative.

Your friend probably also has a lot of history dealing with people while being dyslexic and that's what makes him sensitive to it.

Most likely he was a target in school for bullying and doesn't want to go into some very personal stories that he would rather forget about.

Depending on how long you have known him I may be completely wrong so take it with a grain of salt.
